5. Q's Party

Q is throwing a huge house party for everyone before they all leave to go to University. Everyone from their school will be there including some people you already know. You have also been invited but you're debating on going, you haven't got any friends there and you cant cling to your brother and his friends the entire night. And of course you cant only hang with Q, everyone will want to be around him, its his party after all.

*Hey its Q, are you coming tonight? It'll be great to see you there ;)*

You read the text from Q with a smile on your face, of course you'd love to go, it means you can see him, but you have no friends there and you cant risk your brother finding out about the two of you talking so much

*Hey, I would obviously love to come but its all your friends, I wouldn't have anyone to hang with, ill chill at mine for the night, thanks tho ;)* You reply. You instantly get another message back, either he was waiting for your response or your text came through at a great time

*Dont worry about that, please come, I kinda wanna see ya :)*

You smile down at your phone, what a jerk, you sigh to yourself before forcing your thumbs to respond to this cutie

*Okay okay fine ill come, but we cant make anything obvious pls, i cant have ethan finding out something 3 days before he leaves* you click send waiting for a response

*dont worry, this secret is safe, see you later ;)* He replies

You throw your phone onto your bed and try to pick out an outfit for the night. You go for some black skinny jeans and a small orange crop top. You want to look cute and casual, after everything that happened with Ash you no longer wear outfits that are revealing, they make you too paranoid. You put on some makeup, finishing off with some eyeliner and lashes, your emo side is starting to come back to life and you've missed it massively.

Your arrive to Q's house at its packed full of drunk teens excited to leave for University. The music is blaring and you cant see any familiar faces as of yet. You slowly walk in looking around to see if you can see anyone. No one is visible so you walk around the house trying to find someone, but before you know it, all the memories come flooding back and your chest starts to get tight. Your breathing turns rapid and anxiety has filled your entire body. You fiddle with your nails while looking for a way out the house to get some air until you feel someone grab your arm. You quickly turn around with a panicked look on your face while breathing heavy

'Hey y/n, wait, what's wrong are you okay?' Q asks placing his hand on your shoulder

'yea I'm fine, can you show me outside I need some air, now please'

He nods and keeps hold of your arm while moving through the crowds of people. You make it to his garden where you walk to the back of it and try to take some deep breaths. Q slowly walks behind you and rubs your back while you breath, with a beer in his other hand.

'all the people, it made you worry didn't it' Q asks with a concerned look on his face

You turn around to look at him, your face is red from embarrassment

'Yea it made me worry a bit I guess... it's stupid I know' you say looking up at him. His big brown eyes are staring back at you, he's so drunk right now but manages to keep his cool while making sure you're okay

'hey look, go enjoy the night I'm fine, I'll probably just head home actually I don't think this is my thing. Go get drunk, if you're not already' you say with a small grin

'no I don't want you to go, I've been waiting for you to get here I wanted to see you' Q says while placing his hand on your cheek.

'Q you can't do that people will see'

'I don't care if people see anymore' those words leave his lips as he places his hand under your chin, lifting it as he leans in to kiss you.

Your lips meet for a couple of seconds before you hear a gasp come from behind the two of you. You quickly pull away from the kiss leaving Q hanging. You turn to see Sal, Joe, Murr and most importantly, Ethan

'Dude what the hell you're drunk don't kiss my sister' Ethan shouts while charging forward towards Q

You quickly glimpse over at Sal, he knew this entire time but wouldn't say a single thing to you. You raise your eyebrows at him as a sign to get Ethan to relax

'Ethan I'm sure it's not like that' Sal says grabbing his shoulder

'Dude let me explain' Q slurs while placing his bottle of beer down

'No, Ethan I've been speaking to Q for ages now, he's helped me with a couple of things and its just escalated I guess, he's wanted to tell you but I wanted it to be a secret. Don't be angry at him' You say looking down at the ground

'You fancy Q' he says frowning

You roll your eyes at your brother and sigh

'Yes...' you mumble

Q stands opposite the guys with a huge drunk smile on his face. He seems proud of this moment but I wanted the ground to swallow me up on the spot.

'Anyways I'm leaving, have fun guys' You smile at everyone before pushing past Ethan and leaving the house.

As you're walking down the road you hear someone shouting for you. You turn around to see Joe and Murr running down the road towards you.

'What are you guys doing'

'Look, Ethan will come round' Joe says

'But honestly, You and Q would be great together. He's such a nice and caring guy, you both get on so well, we can see he's happy' Murr says with a smile

'We knew something was happening with him from how happy he always was, we just didn't know it was this' Joe responds

'Guys its not even like that yet, we've just been talking a lot, and he is so drunk, I don't think he even meant to kiss me, but thank you' You reply with a smile

'Just give him a chance okay?' Murr shouts while the two walk back to the party.

You turn around with a smile on your face. The guys want the two of you together, that's something you never expected from them, but it makes you feel amazing. Maybe there is something between you and Q.
