When Jude wasn't playing guitar or the drums she loved to watch TV. Her all-time favorite movie was Heathers, she could talk about that movie for hours. But to save herself from embarrassment she never talked about it.

She kept many things to herself, not having anyone to share with. It was her only choice. Though she used to have a friend. A best friend, one she could share everything with. Courtney Love.

They were like sisters. Being friends since kindergarten they might as well be sisters. And like most sisters, they fought. But when Jude and Courtney fought it was completely destructive.

They fought over small things like who drank the last of the booze, or who used the rest of the toilet paper, or even who was going to do the dishes that day.

They fought so much that they decided to put 20+ years of friendship behind them.

Their friendship was ended over an argument, that according to Courtney was "unforgivable."

Jude had been telling people that she created the band hole. This angered Courtney, not getting the attention and recognition she wanted. Even Jude creating the band was partly true Courtney wouldn't let it stand.

They had this huge argument in the grocery store, Causing a crowd to form. Jude now embarrassed and angry Jude settled on saying she and Courtney co-created the band.

Even though they came up with a compromise that saved the formation of HOLE their friendship was over.

*ringgggg ringgggg ringggg*

Jude rose up from her comfy spot on the couch to answer the phone hoping it was their manager saying they had another gig.

Courtney heard the phone also and pushed past Jude in a hurry. "Sit your ass down, it's for me."

"Whatever, it's probably your dealer anyway," Jude responded back fixing her curly brown hair after being cruelly shoved.

At this point, Courtney had already picked up the phone so the only way she could respond back was by sticking her tongue out.

"Hi, hello, who is this?" Courtney said into the phone.

Her smile quickly turned into a frown when the voice over the line spoke. Turning around to look at Jude then back to the window that was placed in front of the phone.

"yes, she is in fact here." Courtney said coldly over the phone.

This caught Jude's attention slightly lifting from her spot on the couch to see if she could listen in to who was on the phone.

Despite Courtney's notability of Jude's interest she ignored her and responded "Sure you can, but what's in it for me?"

Of course. Jude thought. There goes Courtney again always thinking about herself.

A few mhmms, and okayys later she finally agreed to what the person on the other line had to say and handed the phone to me, not with a smile on her face .
After she dropped the phone in my hand she stormed away.

"Hello?" i said curious to who made Courtney angrier than she already was.

"Hey, is this the drummer from hole?" They guy on the other line said with a small shock in his voice.

"This is she?" i said
"Hey I'm not sure if you remember me, but i talked to you in the dressing room and-"
I hung up the phone before she could finish his sentence.

"That bastard. Who does he think he is?!" Jude said almost yelling.

What kind of person offers a girl their number and doesn't give it to them. HE DIDN'T EVEN ASK FOR MY NAME !!  Jude had been obsessing what happened in the dressing room that day.

She kept thinking it was her fault he didn't call, or give her his number, or even ask her name. He offered for her to teach him her song and still, nothing.

She had already gotten over the boy from the dressing room and she was not about go through it all again.

*ringgggggg ringgggggg ringgggggg*

With a huge sigh Jude rose up from the couch once more to answer the phone, thinking it was the boy from the dressing room again she answered very rudely.

" Look dude, you stood me up so no i'm not going out with you, STOP CALLING"

Just as she was about to hang up she heard a voice that didn't sound like the boy from October 10th.

Hesitantly she rose the phone back up to her ear.
"Wow Jude, feisty much.?" The person on the other line retorted.

It was Janet, their manager

"-Oh Janet, I'm so sorry, I thought you were someone else..." Jude said back now biting her nails.

"ha, yeah I figured but I have news for you princess!" " I just got you guys a gig at this venue, and it's not the biggest but we're getting somewhere"

"OH JANET THATS AMAZING, WHEN IS IT?" Jude said in response happy they now have a gig.

"Well it's in 3 days and it's at 'donnie derby's club'"This was the best Janet could do as of now since very few people actually knew who Hole was,

"Oh.. okay, we'll thank you Jan i'll tell the others."
And with that Jude hung up the phone, just as disappointed as she was before.

She was happy the band got a new show but it was going no where, the band was going no where.

Maybe i should quit the band and get a real job

She would give the band one more try but one more screw up and she was out.

What Jude didn't know was that soon everything was all going to change.
