Ageha: Phew! That last one was a bit of a toughie

Ageha said as she stretches her arms upwards. The sun is about to set and we are currently walking along the sidewalk, making our way back towards the dormitory.

Akiri: My eyes are still flickering. I could still see the damn spaceships...

The last thing we did was "Complete Lady & Silvergun", the final entry on the list. It is a shoot-em-up game and until just now, we were at the arcade, where we finally completed it by repeatedly paying the continue price and taking turns.

It seemed like Kotori had played the game from time to time when she skipped school before. I'm guessing that she have gotten mad with the incredible difficulty of the game and vowed to one day complete the game out of spite.

Ageha: That game was a real masterpiece, isn't it?

Akiri: You only said that because you were only watching me suffer through the game...

Because none of the two girls were good enough at games, I had to go through the final few levels alone, which were extremely hard.

Ageha: You were amazing, Akiri

Kotori: Yeah. I would've never had beaten it even if I had unlimited lives

Ageha: And here I thought I was good at games

The game itself is not that complicated. It's just, once you get swarmed with loads of enemies, it comes down to having a good hand-eye coordination and faster reaction time to dodge the bullets. But even then, mistakes do happen sometimes.

Ageha: Does that mean we've cleared everything on the list?

Kotori: Yeah...

It sounded like even she didn't believe it at first.

We've spent all day clearing the list, even the entries that wasn't written by Kotori.

The only one left is...

"Pass through the passage of the clouds".

That entry still lingers in my mind the whole time.

Ageha: Now that we've finished it, doesn't it feel like it all ended a bit too quickly...?

Akiri: I'm just glad we finished just in time for dinner. I wonder if Aoi had started cooking yet

Ageha: Well, if we want to hang out, we could do it again some other day

I noticed that Kotori is looking down.

Kotori: ...

Akiri: Kotori? What is it?

She seemed to have snapped out of it once she heard her name being called.

Kotori: N-nothing

Despite saying that, I could tell that she isn't telling the truth. She is still hiding something. Her expression still seemed dark.

The same as Ageha, I guess she too feels unexpectedly disappointed now that it's all over, like it wasn't enough.

To be honest, I am feeling the same as well. Especially with that one last incomplete entry.

Ageha: Alright. I'm getting hungry. I think I'd better head back now

Akiri: Hopefully your mom won't find out about this...

Ageha: It's... It's okay. Our homeroom teacher isn't that diligent

Akiri: Yeah, but your forgetting someone
