It is currently a new day. Me and Aoi are in the middle of preparing breakfast when suddenly, we heard the doorbell ring.

Akiri: Who could it be this early in the morning?

Aoi: I'll get it

Aoi wipes his hand with a cleaning towel and went towards the front door.

A while later, he came back in with Ageha who is wearing her school uniform.

Ageha: Good morning!

Akiri: Ageha? What are you doing here?

Aoi: Apparently she came here to ask Kotori to come to school with her

Ageha: Yup!

Akiri: Well, looks like you're going to have to wait a while. She almost never wake up this early

Ageha: No worries! I'm willing to wait

Aoi: Why don't you eat breakfast while you wait?

Ageha: Ooh! Good idea. I can't wait to taste your cooking!

I then served a portion of today's breakfast to Ageha in a bowl.

(Timeskip)

Ageha: Thanks for the food

Aoi: Wait, you're finished?!

Akiri: And there's still some left...

Just like the other boarders, except Kanako, she left some uneaten.

Aoi: How was the taste?

Ageha: It was delicious!

Akiri: Really?

Ageha: Yup!

Akiri: Then, if it was tasty, why did you leave some uneaten?

Ageha: There was a lot of it, so I got tired eating hallway through

Akiri: Huh? What do you mean?

Ageha: I can't eat this much so early in the morning

Akiri: You're kidding right? I only gave you a little bit

Ageha: I'm pretty sure even people in sports clubs don't eat a huge bowl of Napolitan pasta in the morning!

Aoi: With good food, it doesn't matter how much you eat!

Akiri: Wait, so you didn't finish your food just because it is too much for you?

Ageha: Yeah

Akiri + Aoi: What?!

Ageha: Why are you guys so shocked?

Akiri: The truth is...

We then explained to Ageha that all of the boarders, minus Kanako, had always left some of their food uneaten. We've always wondered why. We thought it was maybe because the food was bad.

Ageha: Eating things like pork fried with ginger or Napolitan pasta in the morning... It's unlikely that girls would ever accept that kind of food. Why don't you try something more refreshing?

Aoi: Cooking for girls is so difficult...

Akiri: So, you're saying that the reason the other boarders didn't finish their food, is because we made too much!?

Just as we were contemplating this shocking revelation, I heard the squeaking sound of turning wheels coming down the hallway. Not long after, Hat came waddling into the dining hall with Kotori coming in after him.

Kotori: Why do I have to...

She said sleepily with a yawn as she rubbed her eyes and started preparing Hat's food.
