Cole's eyes slowly opened as he felt the morning sun rise, and something around him. He rolled over to see Alcina with her hands around his waist, her touch never feeling so good. "Morning Alcina." Cole whispered, as he thought she was still asleep. Alcina opened her eyes and her lips curved into a smile as she saw her sweet Cole all well and healed. "Morning draga mea." She responded. "Have you slept well?" Alcina asked. "Of course." Cole patted the lady's shoulder.

He pulled himself out of bed, his cybernetic leg making a pretty satisfying metal clank. Cole had come around to his replacement limb and actually felt better with it than when he had his normal leg.

Cole got himself dressed in his casual sweatpants, not bothering with upper body clothing, and headed down the stairs, telling Lady Dimitrescu that he'd being seeing Donna for a hello

Cole got himself dressed in his casual sweatpants, not bothering with upper body clothing, and headed down the stairs, telling Lady Dimitrescu that he'd being seeing Donna for a hello.

Cole finally arrived at the dollhouse, laying his eyes upon a rather ordinary looking house. He knocked 3 times on the door to let her know he was her. "Donna, is it? It's Cole!" "Coming!" Donna responded. The door opened and she appeared with Angie in hand. "Oh you're still alive huh?" The doll joked. "How's the lady? She been treating you well?" "She's been treating me quite well. I do feel at home, that's for sure." Cole responded in a light voice.

"Well, you can come on in!" The doll invited Cole inside. And so Cole stepped foot into House Beneviento.

Cole looked around to see many pictures of dolls and other various creations by Donna, complementing them as he went.

-An hour later

Cole, Donna and Angie are sitting at a table drinking tea together. And then Cole couldn't help but ask his most curious question yet of her. "Hey uh, Donna. There a reason why you wear that mask?" Donna quivered at the question, knowing she was more than uncomfortable answering it. "It's... It's for my face, it's...ugly, I... don't want to show it." Cole laughed at Donna's seemingly absurd response. "C'mon I bet you look gorgeous under there! Ima see!"

"No, wait! Cole please, you won't like what you're going to see, you going to-noooo!" Donna pleaded as Angie tried to hold back Cole's arm from taking off the mask.

"Ah! Now I-" Cole stopped mid-sentence. His face turned to surprise over what he saw.

The right side of Donna's face was covered in boils and a grotesque mold, completely covering her right eye.

"I don't know what you mean Donna, you look amazing!" Cole responded genuinely

"I don't know what you mean Donna, you look amazing!" Cole responded genuinely.

"W-what?" Donna asked, confused by Cole's compliment.

"That scar is nothing! In fact, I'd say it makes you look even better!"

Donna and Angie couldn't believe what they were hearing. Another person they thought would be disgusted by Donna's scaring, was actually fond of it.

"How is it that you're not disturbed by my scarring?" Donna asked profoundly.

"Back in Texas, I had a friend with facial deformity. Said people laughed at him and avoided him because of how disgusting they said he looked, but he was a really good friend to me and an exceptionally good student. Won numerous awards in fact. He still felt a bit insecure about his face though. And I told him that he's a good person, and that's what matters in life, not how you look. And sometimes you shouldn't be afraid of what people think. Sometimes you just have to go out there and say that this is who you really are! A polite and social kind of person who no matter what most people can take a liking to! That's you Donna! And yes, you too Angie."

Donna smiled warmly at Cole's words. He was just so... kind.

"There are so many things about you that I could point out that make you look beautiful- you've got the hair, the dark eye, and on and on and on! And I'm sure you're good at what you do, all these dolls? They're definitely something! See? You're good at what you do and that alone should give you enough confidence drop your insecurity! And don't be afraid to talk to others. It's not bad at all. Anyway, don't take it the wrong way, I'm still  Alcina's, haha, but you still look great! I gotta jet now actually, so bye, I'll see you around!"

Donna and Angie waved a goodbye to Cole before he walked back toward castle Dimitrescu.

Donna never had such a bright feeling in her heart before. Someone actually complemented the very thing that she thought made her hideous.

As far as she knew, Cole's words would remain with her forever.
