Cole awoke to the sounds of a lullaby. Who was singing to him? It took him a minute to get a grasp but once he understood the Romanian he was hearing, it was clear.

Alcina.

He slowly opened his eyes as he once again found himself in Alcina's bed.

"Well hello, my love. How are you feeling?"

Cole squinted from the slight feeling of stiffness in his chest.

"Shh, shh, it's okay. I gave you something Miranda said was for the pain, you might feel a bit off."

"A little... stiff in the chest, but I'm alright."

Cole paused. Did he just hear what he thought he heard. His entire body felt... heavier, taller, his voice... deeper.

He was a fully grown man.

"Wait... how's my body like this now?" Cole questioned with fascination.

"Miranda said the Cadou has accelerated your growth similar to what it did to mine, and... my, my! You've grown to be my height! At least in terms of your body size and proportions. Right about 9'6.

"What would my age be at this rate?"

"Miranda said you've aged about 30 years."

"Well, this is... something."

"Alcina spoke again. "Your case of growth was not on the same level as mine however, mine was a more... extreme level."

"I find that one of the best parts of you." Cole grinned.

Alcina smiled. "I had a feeling you'd compliment my height. It was a part of my transformation."

Cole looked over this chest and arms. Even before the transformation he was quite muscular and a beautiful face, but what little flaws that remained had been washed away entirely. He looked like a greek god.

"How does my face look?"

Alcina handed him a mirror and smiled at his pleased reaction. "You have my eyes, my, do they glow so beautifully. Hm... you are a bit pale, but apart from that, you look perfect. You are so handsome, Draga Mea."

Cole set down the mirror

Cole set down the mirror. "What was your transformation like?" How'd it feel?"

"I felt no different than when it began, at first. However, I soon felt all my senses strengthened to what many would call... superhuman levels. I do enjoy imagining what is in store for you. What your... Arcana will be."

Cole raised an eyebrow.

"You mean my... power?"

"Yes. I'm sure it'll be stronger than the rest of my siblings. Especially Heisenberg. He is but a fool with no style. Urgh, so gauche."

Cole chuckled at her words.

"I will say in terms of appearance, I did expect something... more."

"Like what?"

"I don't know, just, something."

"Don't worry love, you have another form. How you'll access it and what it will be is something not even Miranda can predict yet. She was quite surprised the Cadou didn't turn you into a Lycan, or kill you outright." Alcina.

Cole looked at his hands and body.

This was it. He'd finally become what he'd dreamt of his whole life and someone to spend the rest of his life with.

"This... I can't believe this... I'm finally what I've wanted to be. I don't know how to thank you.

"There is no need for it, Iubirea mea. I would never refuse you anything that would strengthen you." She caressed his cheek.

"You and my daughters are all that matter to me. And I do suppose Donna is a good company as well."

Cole nodded. "Yeah, she's real nice. Hope you're not someone who get's jealous about me talking to other friends. Believe me, I've had a lot of them." He chuckles.

Alcina waved her hand in dismissal. "Don't worry Draga Mea. I've friends too. Albeit a few."

"Well as long as we got each other, the girls, there's nothing that can hurt us."

"Couldn't be more true, my love."

Cole tried to sit up, but stopped with a groan as a slight ache struck him.

"Now now, It's okay. You aren't at full strength yet. My daughters can't wait to meet you."

Cole's heart welled up with love. Alcina was by the far the kindest and gentlest person he could have met. She was beyond beautiful, an embodiment of everything he had ever dreamed of. And slowly, little by little, he was growing accustomed to his new family and home. He'd really found peace at last.

_

(Time jump to 2 days later).

Cole had finally gotten up to full strength over the course of a couple days and Alcina had brought over her daughters. Naturally they were overjoyed to see him in his new adult form. The three daughters wore their old victorian dresses, had their hair done and were also wearing make-up. Cole couldn't help but be charmed by their presence.

Daniela was the first to chime in. "Hey, show us your teeth!"

"Dani, why do you always have to be so creepy?" Bela groaned with an eye-roll at her sister.

"We all missed you so much, welcome back." Cassandra gushed and the three sisters began showering his beautiful face with kisses. Soon he had lipstick smeared all over it. Expect his lips, they were reserved for only Alcina.

"Hey Cole, what can you do?" Bela asked.

"Yeah, can you turn into bugs like us?"

Alcina spoke up. "Now now, daughters. He is like a newborn, he needs to take his first steps."

She then sat down in a chair and draped one leg over the other. She beckoned Cole closer with one finger and whispered in her sexiest voice to him. "Come to Mommy."

"Awww." Daniela expressed in delight while her sisters giggled upon seeing Cole's face flush to red.

"Good boy." She whispered when he came towards her and rewarded him with a kiss.

"Hmm... you still get easily flustered around me. We'll have to work on that."

"But I'm his favorite sister!" Bela chirped.

"No way! If anyone is his favorite it's me! Cassandra responded.

"I saw him first!" Daniela rang out.

"Enough daughters. Jealousy is beneath such noble ladies like you."

Cole finally spoke among the others. "Besides, I love you all equally and wholeheartedly. Truly."

Alcina then took Cole's hand.

"Cole. You are a Dimitrescu now and this is your home. This is your family, we are bound by blood in life and death. Our bond is eternal. As is your bond with the others. You are a part of us. Cole Hoffman."

And in that moment, a spark lit a fire within Cole. He wasn't a Hoffman. No more. He was better than that. Something stronger... something... more.

"I'm Cole Hoffman no more.

He finally broke the pause between his words. And so, he uttered his new name.

"I'm Cole Sawyer now."
