Reborn

The next day

The next morning you wake up first and go to the kitchen to eat breakfast. You feel better. Your sleep was peaceful and relaxing. After your dirty sex last night you were both so exhausted that you fell asleep quickly. You arrive at the kitchen but no one's there. You assume it's too early and look at the clock. It is too early but you can't sleep anymore. You sit at the table and drink a mug of coffee. As you taste the addicting caffeine you start thinking about Sharon's possible next move but after a bit you give up walking up from the chair. You go to the window and admire the sun coming up and the city returning to life from the night's deep sleep. You watch as the dark shadows dissapear behind the tall buildings and cheerfull morning people go to work. You suddenly feel a hand cup your shoulder gently and you turn to find Bucky smiling at you. 

B: Goodmorning

Y/N: Morning handsome. How did you wake up so early in the morning?

B: I felt the bed empty and I saw that you weren't there...

Y/N: Oh did you panick?

B: What? No no I just woke up and found you...

A lie. He was a step before calling the police. He even woke Steve and Nat up. Then he saw a shadow to the window in the hall.

B: So... Have you eaten breakfast yet?

Y/N: No I just drank some coffee...

B: Ok then let's go make breakfast.

You both go to the kitchen. You go to make something to eat but Bucky stops you.

Y/N: What?

B: I'll make breakfast doll, you can sit down.

Y/N: Ok...

You sit at the table and chair a bit while Bucky makes some pancakes. You don't know what he's making because you sit at the table with your back at him.

B: Ok breakfast's ready.

Y/N: Can I see now what you made?

B: Here

Bucky leaves a plate of pancakes with syrup and strawberries at the top as you like. You watch it with wide eyes and after a moment you get up from the chair and hug him tight.

Y/N: Oh my god how did you know that was my favourite?

B: I know more than you think doll

You peek a kiss to his cheek and you both sit at the table to eat. Bucky sits at a chair and nods to you to sit on his lap. You sit on his lap and he cuts a small piece with his fork. He brings the piece close to your mouth and you eat it too.

B: Is it good?

Y/N: It's delicious!

He let's out a laugh and you continue eating your pancake.
After some minutes Steve and Nat enters the room looking sleepy.
S: Goodmorning everyone
B: Morning
N: Hey lovebirds
She winks at you and you roll your eyes. You try to get up but Bucky pulls you back to his lap. You turn around to face him.
Y/N: I want to eat
B: Yeah me too but I enjoy it more when you're closer to me.
You stay frozen for a moment considering what to say. After a bit you peek a sweet kiss to his cheek and he smiles wide at you. You turn around and he continues to feed you with his delicious pancakes. Nat tries to take a piece from the plate but you stop her and give her a real death stare.
N: Jeez Y/N that was scary... Should I be afraid?
Y/N: If you try to steal my food again you should run.
Everyone laughs hard and you join them. When everyone stops laughing you take a small bite from your food and then turn to Nat.
Y/N: No I mean it no one steals my food.
N: Ok ok I understood... I should be afraid...
S: Anyway... What are your plans for today guys?
Y/N: I've got no special plans for the day I'll probably just go to a peaceful place to read for hours.
N: So you've planned something?
Y/N: No I just wanna go read somewhere in the nature without noise you guys...
B: What are you going to read again?
Y/N: Really now?
B: No I just thought after yesterday you'd stop reading smut.
Y/N: You say that because you haven't read smut.
B: Ok I've got no problem with this... I guess... You can do whatever you want.
Y/N: That's right so now I'm leaving to have a cold shower.
B: Doll... I've wanted to ask you something a while now but I couldn't because of all that have happened...
Y/N: You know you can tell me anything.
B: Would you want to go on a date with me? Again?
Y/N: Uumm yes? I mean you're my boyfriend why wouldn't I want to go out with you?
B: I don't know I think I was just afraid for no reason. So dinner is fine?
Y/N: Dinner's fine. Pick me up at 8.
B: Ok don't worry I won't be late... A lot...
Y/N: Ok fine we'll talk later I have to go love ya
B: Love you
Y/N: Bye guys
You left Natasha and Steve sitting at the table across from Bucky and you went to your room. You changed into your outfit for the day and you were ready to go out. You cleaned up your room and sat on your chair exhausted. Meanwhile it was 10 in the morning and almost everyone was awake. Almost. You went to the living room to find Tony and Steve talking seriously. You didn't bother them, you just turnes around and asked Wanda if Pietro was awake. She was standing there with Vision the whole time.
W: I think he's sleeping. He likes sleeping  a lot.
Y/N: Oh ok then I'll see him later... I guess...
You went to your room to find Bucky sitting at your bed.
Y/N: Hey
B: Hi
Y/N: What are you doing here?
B: I just came here to see you, that's all.
Y/N: Ok... I was here actually to get my bag. I'm going to the lake to read like I said in the morning...
B: Oh yeah right. Do you need someone to read to?
Y/N: Are you telling me you want to come with me?
B: Yes that's actually what I'm saying...
Y/N: Ok then you can come with me. Get ready and meet me here in an hour to leave.
B: Great I'm going get ready see you doll
He smiled and kissed your cheek as he was leaving your room. After a bit you left too. In the hall you met Steve and greeted him.
Y/N: Hi Steve
S: Hi Y/N where are you going?
Y/N: Oh I'll just go to a lake with Bucky. It's kind of an important place to me...
S: Oh I understand... Look... I wanted to talk to you about something important to me a while now... There's something that I want to tell you...
Y/N: Ok Steve what is it?
S: Umm no I didn't mean now... Would you like to meet me tomorrow in the morning to go somewhere to talk?
Y/N: Yes ok. I have to go now but I'll see you later. Bye
You left and went to your room curious about what Steve wanted to tell you.
Thirty minutes later you hear a knock on your door.
Y/N: Come in
Bucky opens the door and comes inside.
B: You ready?
Y/N: Yeah let's go.
You got out and went to the garage. Bucky got in his motorcycle and pushed the key in the hole. The engine roared, coming to life and you looked at him concerned.
Y/N: Is it safe? You know because of the wounds...
B: I won't be running I promise. Jump in.
Y/N: Ok ok.
You sit back from him and you both put on your helmets. He drives out of the garage and then speeds through town.
Y/N: You promised not to run!
You yell at him so that he could hear you.
B: Ok ok I'll slow down.
He slows down. After sometime you arrive at the forest and you leave the motorcycle to continue your way by foot and after some minutes you finally see the lake.
B: I've missed this...
Y/N: Me too. Come on let's sit down. He takes a quilt out of his bag and puts it down. You both sit down and he holds you to his chest. You just stay there not saying anything for some time, maybe even minutes. You just listen to his heartbeat and he seems to be thinking about something important. Some minutes pass and you get up.
B: Where are you going?
Y/N: No where I'm just going to take some photos. The view's amazing!
B: Ok you have a point.
You take some photos and then you lie back down again taking your book in your hand and starting reading. Bucky doesn't say something about your book this time. He just stays there taking in the place. After a while you put your book down and try to get away from your thoughts. You didn't forget about Hunter or the fact that you might've killed him but you wait patiently Tony to inform you. That's why you chose that place right now. Because it helps you forget your nightmares. You try to stand up but you feel Bucky's head on your shoulder. You look at him and you realize that he's sleeping. You smile at the fact that he's so cute when he's asleep and you kiss his forehead. You stay there with your thoughts until your phone rings. You pick it up and Tony's name flash on the screen.
Y/N: Hello?
T: Hey kid I've found what you wanted. Are you coming now?
Y/N: Yes yes I am but tell me. Is he...
T: No no he's totally fine... Almost... You can go see him. I'll send you the right hospital.

 You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. Bucky is not sleeping anymore. He woke up with the phone call.
Y/N: Buck?
B: hey doll...
Y/N: Are you ok?
B: Yeah. Who was on the phone?
He says as he gets up and wipes his eyes.
Y/N: Tony. I have to go see how Hunter is...
B: Ok I understand but I'm coming with you.
Y/N: Anyway we have to go now. We're going straight to the hospital though.

You both take your things and leave the lake. You take a last look at the place and you go to Bucky's motorcycle. You tell him the adress and he drives you there. When you arrive he parks his motorcycle at the parking lot and then you both head inside to find Tony talking with a nurse at a big corridor.

Y/N: Hey Tony. 

T: Hi, sorry for interrupting your time but you said to call you-

Y/N: Yes Tony it's fine. Where is he?

T: Come with me.

You both follow Tony to a room. He points to the door and you take a breath.

Y/N: Ok I'm going stay here.

B: Wait no. I'm coming with you.

Y/N: No Bucky I have to do this alone.

B: Y/N he's your ex who abducted you, you're not going alone.

Y/N: I ALMOST KILLED HIM I HAVE TO!

B: NO I'LL COME WITH YOU! 

T: He's right kid he has to come with you. Or I will.

Y/N: Ugh. Ok but don't say a thing.

B: I won't.

You and Bucky go to the room and see Hunter sitting on the bed. He looks at you and a smile creeps on his face.

H: Baby?

You see Bucky clenching his jaw beside you.

B: Her name is Y/N.

You see that he tries not to blow up.

H: Why is he here?

He turns to look at you with a confused look.

B: Because I'm her boyfriend!

Y/N: Ok ok. Hunter do you remember what happened?

H: You fought me, you wanted to escape. I get it, I never wanted to do it but you have to believe me babe I didn't have a choice, I just wanted to get you back!

B: YOU WON'T!

Y/N: Hey hey Buck relax, I'm not leaving you. He's injured he doesn't know what he's talking about.

You go near him to relax him. After a bit you turn to Hunter with a serious expression.

Y/N: Look... Hunter... I told you before that we can't be together. That's it. Also I'm sorry for what I did but I didn't know what I was doing. I'm kind of a super soldier so I was programmed to hurt people, that's why I couldn't stop. I'm so sorry and I'll take the blame-

H: No it's fine. I knew about it when I did it but I still did it because I want you back. Just give me another chance and I promise-

B: SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU AND IF YOU DON'T GET IT I'LL HAVE TO MAKE YOU GET IT!

Y/N: BUCKY RELAX! Hunter. We discussed that end of story. I'm happy you understand but I won't be with you. 

H: You just broke my heart again... And a few bones but anyways... Just tell me one thing. Do you love him?

Y/N: Yes. Yes I do.

You turn and look at Bucky who is calm now and is smiling at you.

Y/N: Now tell me. Where is Sharon? Did she come here?

H: No but I don't think she'll ever contact me.

Y/N: Ok thank's. Bye Hunter

H: Take care of her.

B: I will but better than you did. I promise that. Bye.

You get out and see Tony in the other side of the corridor making a phone call. When he sees you he quickly hangs up and approaches you.

T: You did it?

Y/N: Yes. Everything's fine. Now let's get the hell out of here.

You go outside and Tony goes to his car while you sit behind Bucky in his motorcycle and he speeds through town to get you home as soon as possible.
