Anniversary

Some days passed. You were really happy. It was like you and Bucky had never been better. You didn't have a mission so everyone could finally relax for a bit. Spring was here and you were enjoying the sunny days in the nature. Going to the lake in the woods was your favourite hobby now. You could relax without any distractions. You and Steve did not avoid eachother but it was not the same like before either since your talk. You had told Bucky everything and at first he was really angry with Steve but now they were trying to build their relationship again. You were glad that Bucky was willing to at least try to forgive Steve because they were like brothers. Nat though didn't want to talk about Steve at all. She didn't seem likely to forgive Steve for kissing you and he was giving her time. Your relationship with Nat had not change at all. She knew how much you loved Bucky and she knew that you wouldn't do this to her. These days had been great. You had gone shopping with the girls to find something to wear to your date with Bucky, which was tommorow, but you couldn't find anything you liked. You would stick with an old dress you had never worn because you didn't like the colour so much but the girls insisted in you wearing it cause it looked great on you.You thought that Bucky would like it so you didn't thought much about it.

You had just woken up from your afternoon nap and were heading to the kitchen to grab some snacks when you saw Wanda grinning at you.

Y/N: Hey Wanda

W: Hey, how are you doing?

Y/N: I'm fine, just went to grab some snacks...

W: Oh I see... Would you want to grab your snacks and come to my room to talk?

Y/N: Ok, I'll be there in 5

You went to the kitchen and after you took your snacks you went to Wanda's room to find her already sitting at her bed with Nat.

You discussed about your make-up for the date and about other unimportant things.

N: You know, I was thinking about the situation with Steve and... I don't know if I can forgive him... I think it would be better to move on...

W: If that's what you want then you have to do this

Y/N: I mean if you don't think he's worth another chance...

N: It's just that I keep thinking about it and now that I recall the time we spent together I see that he was acting weird lately. He was never really caring towards me and he was always asking about you so I should have figured it out before...

W: Uhhh enough of this let's talk about where you would like to go on vacation, summer is almost here.

You talked for some time and then you went to your room. You haven't seen Bucky since morning but you thought that he was with Sam. You didn't want to seem controlling so you didn't call him but now it was getting late and he wasn't back yet. You decided to relax and not think about it. He was a big boy after all. You made some popcorn and went to your room to watch a movie on netflix. You didn't want to watch a thriller without Bucky so you decided to watch a romantic movie instead. It was really good and by the end you were crying. The ending was really sad and one of the characters died so you couldn't help it but cry. After the movie ended you closed the lights and fell asleep trying to avoid the fact that Bucky hadn't contacted you yet.

It was late. Past 3 in the morning. You felt a cold hand around your waist. You could see a large figure behind you from the moonlight and then you smelled the familiar scent: tobacco and leather, only now you smelled also alcohol. Scotch. Bucky used to drink scotch when he was feeling sad and had a lot of flashbacks from his time in Hydra but now you were thought that everything were fine. You slowly opened your eyes and turned around to face him. You found him staring at you with stars in his eyes. He was smiling at you. You thought that he was clearly drunk.
