Chapter:7 First cover, first feelings

I walked into the Avenger's tower exhausted from the hike. I went to my room and slammed myself on the bed. It was currently 19 PM and I hadn't realized how tired I was until now. After that thought everything went dark.

"Y/N." A familiar voice said.

"Wake up sleepyhead, we have a mission." Natasha said. I stirred in my bed and got out of it seconds later.

"You have 10 minutes to get ready it's urgent." She said. I nodded and headed to the bathroom.

10 minutes later

I walked into the living room to see everyone gathered around the big screen looking at something.

"Ah, Y/N, about time." Tony smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and looked at the team.

"So what's wrong?"

"Hydra's wrong. We found information about a man called Dann Raynolds. He's been sent to take information about us and give it to Hydra the second he's out of here. We're not sure if it's Hydra or another organization we don't know about but we're sure he's no good." Steve said. I looked at him.

"We called you because we want you and Peter to go the school we suppose he's in undercover and possibly bring him to us." Clint said.

"Why is he in school?" I asked.

"He's 18." Natasha simply answered. I nodded.

"Why do you need us to go there?" I asked. I wanted to go and help the Avengers but I was also intrigued in knowing why us from all the amazing heroes standing in front of me.

"Because you're the only ones that won't get noticed. No one knows you, Y/N, because you're new and no one would even think Peter is Spider-Man. You're perfect for this." Tony answered.

"All right then. Which school, what time and who are we "being"?" I said making air quotes with my fingers around the word being.

"Actually, you're going to Midtown High." Said Bucky. Peter looked up with a surprised but also smiling face.

"Midtown High! What?!" Peter exclaimed. The team all shared a smirk except for me.

"What's going on?" I asked even more confused.

"Midtown High used to be my school. I graduated a year ago." Peter explained. I nodded in understatement.

"When are we going there?" I asked.

"Tomorrow, we can't wait any longer. According to our information he has been here for a month but we found out about him today." Said Sam and i nodded.

"But why do we have to go? I mean I just joined and I don't think it's a good idea to already start with covers and missions." I said finally realizing that part of the puzzle.

"Exactly. No one knows about you or Peter since as you said you're new, and no one has seen Peter's face. Some people might remember him from the school but no one will suspect he's and avanger. Same goes for you." Said Steve. I nodded and turned to Peter. He smiled and motioned for me to continue the conversation.

"Alright. Will we have to attend any classes?"

"We'll, it is going to be suspicious if you go there and just walk around the corridors without attending classes, isn't it?" Tony chuckled.

"Don't worry I'll explain everything you don't understand from the classes." Peter said. I looked up at him and raised my eyebrows, tilted my head and smiled sassily.

"What? You think I don't know what two plus two is? Oh, Mr. Parker, sorry to bring it to you but I know much more than you think and I might even be better than you." I smiled half sarcastically, half sassily. Peter looked at me with furrowed eyebrows and a slightly opened mouth. I just chuckled and walked out of the room.
