LISA

Once we exited Electric Lady Studios and Jennie locked the place up, I took her hand in mine quickly leading us down the sidewalk. There were a few other people who were rushing in the same direction, surely for the same reason as well.

The address that Jisoo went us following the Fluffy text was an address to a tall building in the city. We climbed many flights of stairs, finally reaching the roof. When we stepped out onto the roof, Jennie looked up at the sky and the taller buildings surrounding us.

The roof was large and decorated nicely. Fairy lights were strung across some parts of the roof as we made our way thru the people to try to find our friends.

Jisoo was the first to spot us because suddenly, we heard her scream like she was being murdered on that very roof. "Jennie! You're here! I'm so happy!" she ran up to Jennie and hugged her tightly.

Bambam and Rosé ran up to me while Jisoo and Jennie continued their interaction. "What are you doing here?" Bambam asked me excitedly.

I smiled at the both of them and ask, "How's it going?"

"I'm never drinking again," Jisoo tells us, mostly Jennie though.

"Hey Jennie," the sound of a man's voice stings my ears. I turn to the direction of the voice to be met with the sight of Kai. Jennie turns and makes eye contact with Kai, but before she could say anything, he asked her, "What are you doing?"

"You asshole!" another voice stings my ears, but this time it's a woman's voice. My head turns quickly to the sound and Tzuyu is standing behind me.

And before I could say anything to her, Kai speaks again. "Wait, you show up here with this gaylord," he stars, throwing his arm in my direction, "You trying to make a fool of me in front of my boys?"

"Do you realize that I had to walk back to 10th by myself?" Tzuyu suddenly took a step closer to me as she raised her voice.

"You weren't exactly by yourself," Tzuyus boy toy chimes in.

"Shut up, Gary," she dismisses him.

"So you're telling me this is over?" Kai asks Jennie. It's like a ping pong match with Kai and Tzuyu taking turns raising their voices at us, the rest of our friends watch moving their heads back and forth from Kai to Tzuyu when they would speak.

"You're seriously over me?" Tzuyu looked up at me.

Kai steps into Jennie's space, grabbing the back of her arms so he can pull her into him. "Come on, no," he tells Jennie. "Come here a second."

Kai pulls her away but not far enough for us to not be able to hear. I watch Jennie and Kai from the side of my eye, listening carefully to their conversation as I try to also focus on the conversation in front of me.

"You're still gonna give your dad our CD, right? Aren't you?" he asked Jennie, but when she didn't respond and looked over at me, he shook her shoulders. "Come on, you know how hard we worked on that. You promised me-"

He didn't get to finish because I took one long solid step in his direction and shoved him back. He turned to me, angrily. The two friends he had behind him looked like they were about to go in on me but he turned to them and said, "Wait. It's all good. It's all good."

Kai stepped up to me so that we were face to face. He pointed his finger between Jennie and hisself, "This doesn't concern you, Sal," he said, probably referring to the name on my jacket that Jennie is still wearing. Then, he shoved me back.

"It's Salvatore," I shoved him again.

"Oh, yeah?" Kai's eyes glanced over to Tzuyu and he pointed at her before looking back to me. "What? You blew it with your own chick so you gotta run around with someone else's?" He shoved me, again.

"If you push me again-"

"Then what?" Kai teased me. "Your band of merry men will bone me?"

"That's it!" beefy guy shouted before to grabbed Kai by the collar of his jacket and headbutted the fuck out of him.

Kai slouches over, holding his nose and the crowd around us started cheering. I hadn't noticed before but there were quite a few people who gathered to watch our shove match. Kai grabbed Jennie's wrist and started pulling her with him. "Come on, come with me."

But, the whole time Kai is trying to drag her to him, her eyes are glued on mine and mine are glued on hers as well until, "Let's go watch the show." I look over to see Tzuyu looking up at me and nodding her head in the direction of where Where's Fluffy will be playing soon.

My eyes go back over to Jennie, who is still watching me. It's only been one night, but so much has happened and now I feel like this is life waiting for me to give my final answer. Jennie or Tzuyu.

It's barely there, but I swear, Jennie shoots me the smallest of smiles, with only the edges of her lips slightly going up. I smile back, more noticeably because I want her to be sure that I am smiling at her. And when I do, her smile widens.

It was like we had a whole conversation without any words, just staring at each other. Then, I hear the crowd start chanting for Fluffy and I know it's about that time. Time for Fluffy and time to make a decision for myself. I hold out my hand to Jennie. She looked over at Kai briefly before she pulled her wrist out of his hold and put her hand in mine.

I took her hand happily, interlacing our fingers and walking us away from both Kai and Tzuyu. I can hear Kai shouting angrily at Jennie from behind us. I turn to look at Kai but get distracted when I see Jennie just staring at me with a smile on her face, unbothered by Kai's yelling. "That's three years I've wasted on Ira Kim's daughter and what does it get me?"

"Jennie, who's gonna take me home?" Jisoo started yelling at Jennie as well.

Then, it was Tzuyu's turn to yell at me. Because why not? "Yeah, well, I hate your stupid band! Oh, and P.S., I cheated on you!"

By this time, there was someone on stage to make an announcement and that's the next voice that entered my eardrums. "Don't leave yet, because we've got one question for you: Are you ready for Where's Fluffy?"

Jennie and I decided on the exact opposite though. We left. The sun was starting to rise and once we got back down on the road and to a subway because well, my car is broken, Jennie stopped walking right as I stepped on the escalator to go down. I turned around to look at her, "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked as I kept taking steps up the escalator so I could stay close to her.

"Are you sad we missed it?"

I kept walking up the steps to keep my place as I shook my head, "We didn't miss it. This is it. Come on. Don't you wanna go home?" Jennie smiled and finally stepped onto the escalator step in front of me. Since I turned to face her, I was going down backwards and the step she was on was taller than mine. It made us about the same height so once Jennie was on the step and she looked at me...

I kissed her.

THE END.
