Chapter 6. Jack Daniels

"Allright let's get this done with." I punch my fists together as I head towards the few people standing in the corner of the room. As I get closer I see Natasha and Steve stretching their arms and legs.

"Were starting off easy. Just a small workout to get you warmed up and ready for the real shit." Natasha smiles at me.

"Hey, language Romanoff." Steve eyed Natasha and she rolled her eyes with a smile.

Are they a thing?

What do you mean?

I mean that little unspoken thing they have between them. It's kinda cute.

Let's focus on the training.

You are no fun.

"Let's run for a little. Do a few laps then head back here." Steve starts to head back to the hallway and Natasha slips besides me as we walk. We are a little bit back from Steve and I can tell Natasha and I are doing the same thing.

"Are you doing what I think your doing?" She whispers to me and my face gets red.

"Are you?" I say back and she just smiles.

"Maybe." We giggle and we see Steve glance back at us as we walk threw the hallways. "It is a nice ass."

"You got that right." I sigh looking at it again. "So what's that thing between you guys?" I look at her and she just looks confused.

"What thing?"

"You know." I wiggled my eyebrows at her and she laughed. "I saw the way you guys act around eachother."

"Oh no no. It's not that. I've got a little for someone else and he does too." She looks at the ground.

"You guys gunna make it or what?" Steve yells to us as he is already at the front doors to go outside.

"Tell me about it later?" I ask Natasha and she nods.

"You'll hear everything." She smiles and we both laugh. We hit the door and Steve starts to bolt into a path into the woods.

Don't use your powers. Just stay with Natasha and they won't suspect a thing?

Wait they don't know?

No they don't and don't plan on telling them either.

Why not?

They shouldn't know until you have it settled. You need to know that you have full control of your powers first.

I guess that makes sense.

"Where are you going?" Steve's voice snaps threw me and suddenly im back in the woods with no one infront of me. I stop and look back and see Steve and Natasha a little bit of a distance behind me trying to catch their breath.

"Oh sorry." I start walking back to them and they seem more out of breath than I am. A ring comes from Steve's pocket and he steps away to answer it. Natasha and I stay quiet to somewhat hear his conversation.

"Hey. Yeah I'm just training with Nat and Kat. I know it's weird I guess. No were just training. Come on.... yeah I'll see you later. By."

Nat and I look at eachother with a concerning look. As Steve steps back towards us I read his face and it seems sad.

"You ok?" I ask and Nat glances at him. We see him force a smile.

"Yeah, I'm good. Let's get back." He turns to run along with Nat.
