It was a week since the whole "Tina went full Sweeny Todd and cut my hair while attempting to murder my rep with her shitty scissors" incident, and I completely forgot about the whole Masquerade and Sonic's promise from the Linkin Park incident (long ass story). That was, until Airalain reminded me that very night. I was finished with my work, and I went to talk with Airalain. I opened the door to find a full fledged plague doctor sitting in front of the fireplace. "Come closer, Ali. I got your costume ready, and I want to see what you look like." I hear Airalain's voice under the hooked, beaked mask. I noted that she was wearing hoopskirts, and her form was human.
I gasped at the sight of the matching plague doctor costume. I slipped into it, asking, "Airalain, what's going on? Why did you make this?"
"Tonight is the masquerade, my dear." She purred, wrapping her hands around my waist. "Let me help you get into your corset." I felt her fingers slide over to my back and tighten my corset. I gasped, since she did it tightly. "Now we must report to the cafeteria." She pulled me by the arm to the cafeteria. I had zero idea what it was about, until I arrived at the mess hall. I gasped in shock at what I have seen.
The cafeteria looked very different. It looked like a 17th century ballroom. I could see many people, but I couldn't recognize any of them. I recognized Sonic and the other Mobian teachers, though. They were all dressed as knights. Sonic was wearing gold armor, while everyone else was wearing different colored armor. I turned and realized that there was many foods here. Apparently the Masquerade is not just about dancing. I could see food on one of the tables. The rest of the tables were pushed to the side of the room into a makeshift dining hall. I gasped as a Marionette figure offered to dance with me. I asked, stunned at the sight of a puppet offering to dance with me, "Who are you?" I didn't even realize it was Charlie until he spoke to me.
"It's me, Charlie. I figure that the French plague doctor in front of me is my beloved Alison Black." The figure replied, pretending to kiss my hand.
"Oh, very funny. Now I get it. The FNAF books had a character named Charlie who was trapped in the puppet. That was clever." I noted smoothly. I saw the puppet lift it's mask, revealing my lover's face.
"So you are a FNAF nut, too?" Charlie asked, chuckling as he brushed a stray piece of hair out of my face.
"Yeah." I replied, sensing that we had more common ground than we thought. Then we started dancing to the slow music. I felt as if I was in my happiest moment. I felt as if my feet never touched the marbled floor. The half moon gleamed off of our masks, and we took the masks off to kiss. "Love you, Charlie." I murmured breathily as Charlie kissed me passionately.
"I love you too, Alison Black." He murmured softly.
That moment ended too soon, sadly. I felt something metallic latch onto my arm. I glanced to see a gold gauntlet, and I automatically knew who it is. "May I have this dance, fair maiden? It's polite to accept, my little bird." I hear Sonic ask, his tones dripping with iced formality. I was kind of shocked at that kind of question. Sonic would never be caught dead calling me fair maiden. He's up to something, and I believe Sonic is up to no good on my end. I thought suspiciously. As it turned out, I was right.
I nodded, telling Charlie, "I'll be back soon, love." We recently revealed that we were dating, and Sonic was pissed about it. Sonic tugged me away gently, leading me outside. So the set up is that the cafeteria is on the ground floor, and there is an outside patio. "Okay, Sonic. What's-!?" I began to ask, but Sonic muffled my voice before I could say anything more.
"Alison, I've waited a long time for this. Ever since you signed the blood contract, you have been teasing my appetite. You'll know what's happening soon enough. First thing that you need to see is this." Sonic's voice purred in my ear. Then he guided my eyes towards Charlie. I watched as my love was approached by a plague doctor. At first, I thought I was seeing double until I saw the green eyes gleam at me through the mask and I glimpsed a punk bracelet on one of her wrists. I realized Charlie's dangerous mistake. He had mistaken Airalain for me! I thought, horrified. I tried to scream at Charlie that it was a trick, but my voice decided that it wouldn't work. He rasped in my ear, his armor making him sound softer, more wicked and more metallic, "Alison, I told you that he would dump you. I tried to warn you." I tried to punch his armor to get him to let me go, but all I felt was pain. Sonic laughed softly, "You're mine. Soon, dear, you will be an elite. It's no use to be aggressive with me when I'm wearing armor. You might as well punch a steel wall."
I was horrified at the sound of that. The moment I dreaded the most was approaching faster than I've originally thought, and I could do nothing about it. "What are you going to do to me!?" I tried to yell, but it came out muffled and quieter. The odds were stacked against me, and there was literally nothing I could do.
"Oh, that would be a secret, darling. I will let you know when I feel ready. But when you get to my home, I will not see you as my daughter. I'll see you as prey to toy with." His voice grated against my ear as he called out softly, "Kayla, kidnap her and bring her to my abode."
I turned towards a well built girl with adorable chipmunk cheeks. I saw that even though she was dressed as Ballora from FNAF, I could see her arms. They were covered in doodles, and I whispered as Kayla was about to grab me, "No!" Then she grabbed me by my throat.
"Sorry, dear." Kayla purred, beginning to squeeze, "But a deal is a deal. You signed the blood contract, you kissed the Headmaster's hand, you have to live up to the bargain." I began to cough, trying desperately to breathe. "It's been a pleasure having you as Airalain's pet, but now you got to shed that coil." She whispered gleefully as I tried to suck in air. "We'll get your adrenaline pumping soon. Sonic likes his prey to be panicking."
"Adrenaline adds a kick to gamershood. Similar to chili powder in a chili dog, Kayla." Sonic purred, giving me a good glimpse of his waist. I could see a sword gleam in the light. Then I blacked out. The last thing I heard was Sonic whispering to me, "Your gamershood is looking ravishing, dear. I can't wait to have a taste of your gamershood."
