I am currently standing in my garden, taking in the sight of all my plants, including the poisonous wisteria. I often see various animals entering my garden for some R&R or to get a boost of energy from the toxic plants, as many of them are poisonous species that rely on toxins for their offensive moves.
There is a specific albino snake with red eyes that I named 'Kaburamaru'. I often see her basking around the wisteria plants, so I allow her to have her leisure time.
One day, unexpectedly, the snake coiled around my neck and made itself comfortable. I assumed it must have trusted me, so I gently pet its head, and it seemed to enjoy it. Since that moment, we had become very close, and my mother was initially spooked, but she eventually came around once she realized it was harmless unless someone tried to cause me harm.
I chuckled softly recalling the memory and focused on the task at hand.
I observed the butterflies dancing around the garden, and Kaburamaru remained coiled around my neck, its presence on me not causing my smile to waver.
