Her thoughts raced through her mind, grappling with the unforeseen turn of events.
All she had wanted was to deliver groceries to her goat mother.
But fate had its own plan, and apparently, it wasn't in her favor.
Now, she found herself being pursued by 6 - or perhaps even more - unexpected skeletons.
The question was: what was going to happen next?
The chase had lasted for the past 16 minutes, with no end in sight. As she leaped from tree to tree, dodging various attacks, she felt the adrenaline rush through her veins. The skeletons below continued to hurl bone and blaster attacks at her, along with throwing knives, an axe, and even trying to ensnare her with strings of blue magic. (Ya'll know who they are)
Despite the chaotic situation, (Y/n) focused on staying one step ahead. Effortlessly, she dodged and deflected the onslaught of attacks, while also blocking and slicing through them with her own sword. Meanwhile, she was careful to control her breathing, making sure that the harsh weather wouldn't unintentionally cause her lungs to freeze.
"Jeez, how long can she run?" Dust gasped, panting heavily, even though he didn't have lungs. "I feel like my lungs are about to burst!" He struggled to keep up with her speed as his companions followed suit.
"I don't know!" Fell groaned as he was hit by a redirected bone attack. The girl struck her tongue out playfully as he stumbled back, clearly taken aback by the unexpected move. (she pulled an uno reverse on this bitch-)
"Hah! That's what you get!" Killer snickered before getting smacked with a miniature gaster blaster himself. Still, he found a silver lining, glad that it wasn't a full-sized one.
"Argh! She's getting on my nerves!" he growled, throwing his knife at her, but she nimbly dodged the attack by jumping down from the branch, grasping it to prevent a complete fall. She climbed back up again by using her core strength to spin on the branch like a pole. Then, she let go and flawlessly performed a tuck and somersault before safely landing on another stable branch.
"Oh, come on!" Error grumbled, his frustration mounting. "Just how flexible is she?!" he panted, heavily leaning on a tree for support, his skull glistening with sweat as icy breath puffed in the air, mingling with tiny icy particles.
(Y/n) took a moment to observe their exhaustion and slowed down, feeling a pang of sympathy for the tired skeletons. They took notice but were too exhausted to give chase, either lying down or sitting on the ground to catch their breaths.
