(Hey my lovely's I dead ass stole this slow dance idea from a Cinderella story the one with Hilary diff. Anywho just wanted to credit it before I make this chapter. Enjoy!)
We flew in a jet that was a wedding gift to Diana 30 some years ago.

We arrive in a Black 67 Chevy impalla

(Yes that is the car from supernatural stfu)

We get out and our names are announced.

"Queen y/n y/l/n of covera"

"King Finn Haynes and former queen Diana Haynes"

We walk down the big stair case eyes landing on us

Music blared through the stair case echoing. It got louder the closer we got.

We are led down to a large room full of men and women in blue and black formal wear. We walk down another set of stairs and as I reach the bottom a boney old man greets me and offers me a hand. His comb over was greasy and stuck up in places.

"Sorry I'm here with-" before I could politely decline his offer I was interrupted

"She's with me asshole." Finna said a small smirk on his face

Diana slapped Finns arm for using such language at a event like this.

The man walked away off to some other girl in a light blue almost lavender dress her hair hung in red ringgits.

It was beautiful and don't get me stared in her skin not a spot of acne to be seen.

Idk how tf she does that but I need to know her secret

The room was surrounded by men in black with sunglasses

I don't know how many times I have to say it but I'll say it one more time for the people in the back who didn't hear me , wearing sunglasses inside at night doesn't make you cool it makes you look stupid.

Diana saw some of her friends and walked over to them.

Me and Finn walked over to a less popular area and speak about what we observed.

"For each person that walks in one of those men talks into their ear piece. I have a bad feeling Finn."

"I noticed that, it will be fine as long as you have me your fearful protecter" he bowed

"Oh please Haynes I could beat you any day just name the day and time and I'll be there."

"I'll take you up on that offer my queen, when we get back to the castle I'll show you who is stronger."

"I-"

"Shhhh love rest your voice for tonight I wanna hear you at your full potential when you scream my name." He whispered in my ear

Chills send down my spine

We listen for another 30 minutes before Michel steps out the room goes silent.

"Thank you all for attending to my ball I hope you all enjoy yourself. Remember the rules and have fun. Now let's get this thing started."

Music started playing again

This crowd is kinda depressing

Ughh it's gonna be a long night

Diana danced with one of her friends while me and Finn stayed where we were making small talk.

The whole room was quite quiet besides the small talk and gossip that whispered a crossed the ballroom.

After 20 minutes my just began to hurt so I told Finn I was honing to step outside because I wasn't feeling well.

"I'm sorry I'll step out with you." I nodded

We walked out to the garden where we found a gazebo with vines and white roses growing everywhere. Twinkle lights hung messy all over the garden.

Me and Finn were about to kiss in the perfect candle light when we heard a gun shot and coming from the ballroom. We run inside.

Some asshole is about to die

When we get inside everything has gone to hell.

Me and Finn look through the crowd trying to find Diana.

It's like the world slowed for a second I looked around at last I found her.

"Diana!"

"I'll be fine honey me and my friends are going back to their castle so please try to keep the castle safe from Finns distraction plan!" She shouted then I had lost her shins in the crowd

I grabbed finns arm and pulled him out of the room and through the same door we went to take a breath. We rushed out and over to a garden wall I took a running start and hoisted myself up onto the wall.

"Finn a little help."

"Huh? Sorry I was enjoying the view up you dress"

"Finn Haynes help me over this before we both get killed!" I scolded

"Ugh fine"

He pushed me up and over the wall then his giraffe ass self pulled him self up and over in one swift move.

Just as we were about to reach the car more gun shots went off. Finn pulled a small hand gun out of the back of his pants. He fired 3 shots in the direction they came from which soon followed by noises of screams and groans.

We reached the car and I got in Finn closed my door and walked to his side sliding in and then we were off back to the jet.

When we reached the jet we got on board and then we were off.

"Finn daring can you please get that car back to the castle I like it" I said looking up from my book

"Anything for you my sweet." He said playing with my hair as I lay in his lap
