CHAP 5

Jennie...

It was one wild Sunday night for Jennie Ruby Jane Kim and her friends for they had partied like wild American teenagers on a Friday night. They had danced and drank till they could barely stand, luckily for them, they had chauffeurs that would drive them back to their respective homes safely. It was because of the party that Jennie had woken up splitting headache the next day. "Urgh... What time is it?" Jennie said as grabbed her alarm clock to check the time, she had expected to wake up late but to her surprise she had woken up at 6:45AM, 15 minutes before her alarm rings signaling for her to prepare for class. Jennie turned off her alarm before it would go off, ignored the fact that she woke up early, also the fact that she still has a splitting headache and decided to go back to sleep, but after 10 minutes of failing on trying to fall asleep, she decided to get up and drink some pain killers to stop the headache and just prepare for school.

When Jennie went down to their house's kitchen she was surprised to see her mother, Kim Chaerin(*Lee Chaerin/CL*) preparing breakfast and her father, Kim Seunghyun(*Choi Seunghyun/T.O.P*) sitting by the kitchen counter reading the newspaper. Jennie's parents are big shots in the entertainment world and are always busy that they barely spend time together as a family, so seeing her parents in the kitchen weirded her out to the point where she just froze and stared at them, skeptical if they were real or just her imagination. "I think I drank too much last night." Jennie thought.

"Good morning sweetheart, come and join us for breakfast." Upon noticing her daughter, Chaerin greeted her with kiss on the cheek and with that Jennie unfroze. "Um... What are you doing?" Jennie said skeptical to which Chaerin found cute. "Preparing breakfast silly." Chaerin said chuckling at her daughter's cuteness. "I know that, what I mean is what are you guys doing here, shouldn't you be at a shoot or something?" Jennie asked unsure of what's going on . "Well me and your mother will be on hiatus for a month, to have some family time." Seunghyun said as she placed down his newspaper and went to kiss Jennie's cheeks. The news made Jennie enthusiastic making her forget about her splitting headache.

Though Jennie acts like a rebellious teenager towards her parents, she can't deny the fact that she loves them. Plus her parents are totally cool with her being a rebellious teenager, as they believe it's a part of her growing up and that one day when she finds her significant other half, she'd change for the better.

The family of 3 enjoyed their breakfast especially Jennie, when she was done she happily went up to her and prepared for school. After taking a bath she wore her school uniform but almost forgot to wear her black necktie if it weren't for her mother asking where her necktie was when she got down. Since there was still time to spare Jennie decided to spend a few minutes to cuddle with her parents who were currently watching T.V.. Just like that 20 minutes passed and it was already 7:50am, so Jennie went ahead and had herself driven to school by her dad whom she had cutely beg to do so.

Once she arrived school she was reunited with her gang, BlackVelvet consisting of Bae Joohyun/Irene, Park Sooyoung/Joy, Kim Yerim, Lalisa/Lisa Manobal(*pronounced as Manoban in Thai*), and Park Chaeyoung/Rosé. Their group is know due to them being daughters of top artists and businessmen in Korea and they are notorious in Horizon High as heartbreakers with Jennie and Irene rejecting constant admirers, Joy and Yeri are total players while Lisa and Rosé are in a committed relationship as each other's girlfriend making them unavailable to ask out.

Since there was no more time left for them to talk they just greeted each other a good morning and headed out to there respective classroom and just like that time passed by quickly and it was now lunch time so the group went and met up in the canteen to have lunch together.

Jisoo...

"What do you mean you didn't bring lunch with you?" Wendy said. As soon as the bell rang for lunch break, Wendy and Seulgi grabed their bags along with Jisoo and her bag and headed straight for the school's rooftop since no one would be there during lunch because everyone would be gathered at the school's large canteen. "I understand Jisoo for not bringing lunch with her but it's a different story for you Seulgi. You were supposed to bring lunch like always. We were going to share lunch with Jisoo just like the old days but how are we supposed to share now when I'm the only one who brought lunch with me. My lunch can't feed 3 people you know." Wendy said as she scolded Seulgi for leaving her lunch at her house. "Urgh... I never thought this day would come but seeing as you two don't have lunches. We have no choice but to buy you lunch at that dreaded canteen." Wendy said as she grumbled to which Seulgi gasps. "But we've been avoiding going there since day 1. Maybe we could just order delivery or go out or something." Seulgi said. "Have you not read the school's handbook? What you've just suggested is against the school's rules and regulations. They've hired professional chefs just so the students wouldn't do that you know. Plus we could've still avoided going there if you didn't leave your lunch at home." Wendy said while still scolding Seulgi. "What's so wrong about having lunch in the canteen." Jisoo asked to which Wendy sighed. "The canteen is where all students gather. Its where all the drama starts." Wendy said tiredly. "Since we have no other options...When we get there I want you guys to do just 3 things, No.1 get in line and order food, No. 2 avoid bumping into anyone and lastly No. 3 eat your food in a fast pace and immediately get out of there. After that we will be bringing lunch every day and eat here in the rooftop, this will be a onetime thing only. Now let's go back to the classroom and return our bags we only need our wallets with us. I'll be buying lunch with you guys so I wouldn't stand out."

Jennie...

Jennie and her gang were having lunch at their usual table at the center of the canteen. They had been eating and chatting amicably for the past 20 minutes of their lunch break just like everybody else, when suddenly the canteen doors opened dramatically revealing 3 charismatic and beautiful girls, the once noisy canteen became silent as the mass observed the 3 girls who were oblivious to their surroundings.

Curious as to why the canteen suddenly became silent, Jennie and the gang looked at where the rest were looking at.
