I woke up earlier this morning around 7 because of a call from Yovanna. I got dressed and went into Sadie's room seeing her still fast asleep. I walked over and kissed her forehead.
Last night she was down about something and I know it. I just don't know what but I'm not gonna force it out of her. She'll Tell me when she wants to.
I finally headed out the door and made my way to the location of Yovanna's photoshoot.
Sadie
My phone alarm went off at 8:15. Im awake and dressed now. Im sitting at the island as usual, waiting for Sean to get here. I heard the doorbell ring so i got up and went to answer it.
Sean stood at the steps with food and a back pack. I let him in and gave him a hug.
"Grande Salted Caramel Frap and a bagel."
"Yayy thanks Sean."
"Welcome. Where's your dad?"
"Somewhere for his girlfriend's photoshoot."
"Oh i see. Homework?"
"Did it."
I handed him my essay i had to write based off of To Kill A Mockingbird. He skimmed through it pretty fast and graded it. I got a 4/6
"You had a good claim, good thesis, but you started going off topic and left out the guiding question. Other than that you still passed it."
"Oh thank God. I thought i did a lot worse. Justin's good at writing but he wasnt here so i couldnt ask for help."
"Well you can always call me if you need anything Sade."
"Thanks"
"Of course."
We finished early but Sean still stayed to help go through some things i was struggling with. As he started packing up my phone rang.
"Hello? Damn. I forgot. Uhhh he's not here. Fredo has to shoot a short film today. I dont know. Ok."
I texted justin
"Dad i forgot about dance today. I need a ride. Anyway u can get out of her photoshoot to drop me off??"
"Sorry kiddo. I can't just up and leave her. You might just have to miss this one"
"What did you forget?"
"I have a dance class in an hour and Justin said he cant leave Yovanna's irrelevant little photoshoot to just quickly drop me off."
I watched as Sean continued to pack up. He grabbed his keys and looked at me.
"We can make it in 35 minutes. Grab your things."
I smiled wide amd ran upstairs to grab my dance bag. Sean and i headed out to his car and he drove me to the studio. He parked right in front of the back door. I looked at him.
"Thanks for dropping me off."
"Dropping you off? Sade. I cant just come to a dance studio without seeing some serious skill"
I laughed and he took his keys out the ignition. We walked into the building and i was greeted by Matt.
"Sadie! You made it. Where's justin?"
"Still not here. Still with Yovanna. This is my teacher Sean, Sean this is my choreographer Matt."
They shook hands.
"Sean brought me because apparently Yovanna's event was more important so Justin couldnt come pick me up."
"Well thank you Sean. We need this little girl right here."
