"Relax. I'm sure Sadie's into you. If she wasn't she wouldnt agree to go this date"
"I told you so many times already...its not a date Nash."
"Hayes. It's a fucking date. You're taking her out and its just the two of you."
"Whatever. Look. Im gonna go get ready to HANG OUT with Sadie."
I took off up the stairs and into the bathroom to shower and get dressed. I hope this goes well. I really do like her even though we just met. I mean at first when i first saw her on T.V on Ellen she was like my "celebrity crush" I guess. I dont know.
Sadie
I just finished getting dressed. I decided on a black and pink floral print skater skirt, a short sleeve plain black shirt tucked in, and black vans. I put my hair in a high ponytail then put on eyeliner and mascara.
Just as I went to grab my phone i heard the doorbell ring. I looked in my mirror once more and ran out of my room heading downstairs.
I was greeted by Justin standing at the door with Hayes who was wearing a plain white button up, jeans, and white vans. He looked at me and smiled.
"Be back by 8 Sadie we have people coming over."
"Ok dad"
"Dont forget!"
"I wont. I promise."
"Please be safe sweetie"
"Daddd i will. Ok?"
"Ok baby girl. Have fun. Dont do anything stupid!"
"Thanks dad i wont"
"Sadie-"
"Dad!"
"What?! I was just gonna say I love you."
"I love you too"
He kissed the top of my head before finally letting me step outside. I looked to Hayes as we walked to the car.
"Sorry...for...him. He gets reallyyy protective."
"Yeah..yeah i get it haha. Never seen him like that before."
"Like what?"
"So responsible. He's good Around his brother and sister but Other than that he usually just wants to have fun and shit"
"Ohhh. So you've known him for a while?"
"Not really. Just about a year or so."
We got into the car. Hayes in the driver's side.
"Aren't you 15 haha?"
"Yeah. And im not supposed to be driving without a guardian but Nash is trusting me and i'll be able to do this next year."
"But you have a permit right."
"Haha yeah. Im not that dumb. But i was thinking we do ice cream and the Pier?"
"Sounds good."
He looked over and smiled at me. God his smile. His eyes. Those eyes.
We got to the Pier (boardwalk). Hayes came around and opened my door. I looked at him and giggled.
"Cliche. I know. But im a gentleman so its an instinct."
I laughed at his explanation and we started walking on the boardwalk. We started off playing some of the carnival games like the one where you shoot water at a target and the one with the darts and balloons.
