"STOP! I'M MAKING IT!"
"NO SHE SAID I COULD DO IT!"
"BUT RICKY'S IN CHARGE HE SAID I COULD!"
Ughhh. I rolled out of bed and walked downstairs still in my pajamas. I stopped in the kitchen seeing some of the kids arguing and Ricky trying to stop them. I shook my head and walked over to grab a pot. I used a wooden spoon to beat on the metal. Everyone yelled and got quiet.
"What. Is. The problem?!"
Cady walked to the front of everyone and spoke up.
"Ricky told me that I could help make breakfast today but James got in my way and wouldn't let me get stuff to help."
"Did not!!!!"
"Did too!!!"
I groaned once more and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Listen. Everyone who wants to help can help. Take turns doing whatever, share ingredients and be nice to each other. If not then I'll finish and everyone can sit at the table quietly."
"Okay Sadie!"
I gave everyone a nice smile ad they agreed with my rules. God I felt like a mother. I started getting out some food items when I felt a presence next to me.
"Thanks...Sadie. They've been uh...kinda a lot to handle since you've be gone."
I didn't bother looking at Ricky. I just nodded.
"Hey um...I. I'm sorry. For what I said. I know it was fucked up and the relationship you have with your family isn't my business. I really am sorry"
"It's fine Ricky. I'm over it. But if you really wanna help, I have to go get changed before Sean gets here...."
"Oh yeah um I'll handle this. You got them to calm down so I can take over."
"Thanks."
I smiled at him before running back upstairs. I heard my phone ringing so I darted to my nightstand. I didn't recognize the number but we had the same area code.
"Hello?"
"Hey princess."
"Dad?"
My heart started beating and I smiled widely
"Yeah. This is my new number. I accidentally leaked my old one."
"Haha. Of course you did."
"Aye. Watch it. I forgot I was doing a live stream and I said it out loud."
"Hahaha. I bet the fans were quick to hit you up."
"Any girl would be quick to hit me up."
We both laughed at his comment.
"I miss you dad."
"I miss you too baby girl. But I'm keeping up with my community service and making sure I pay on time so I can get you back."
"I don't wanna be here. I love everyone but I'm not happy"
"I know Sade. I know. Time will pass pretty soon okay? But I'm gonna let you go because I know you have school. I love you sweetheart."
"I love you"
With that we both hung up. I held back the tears that were begging to fall and I continued changing.

The next morning I walked downstairs after being called down. I spent last night crying, not wanting to be here. After school at Starbucks Sean dropped me back off and then around 8 at night I asked him to pick me up again because I needed someone to talk to.
