Chapter 8: Invasion of the Ryoka

Upon waking up in my home, Aizen had left soon after checking on me. He had said he'd come by later to talk to me about something. My stomach was turning, I felt rather uneasy.
However, before I could take any sort of action, I had gotten word that there was an invasion of a few different people into the Soul Society.
I walked outside, relaxing and taking a deep breath. Who is the spiritual pressure of those who are coming into the Soul Society?
I could sense that it was familiar. Wait. I knew that presence anywhere. It was Ichigo.
"He must be here to rescue Rukia!" I thought to myself as I ran in the direction of where it was the strongest.
When I arrived, I found Ichigo and Ganju of the Shiba Clan going at it with two members of Squad 11 who were known for their power. They were Ikkaku Madarame and Yumachika Ayasegawa. They were considerably some of the many of ruthless souls that were part of Squad 11. In fact, they were practically Kenpachi Zaraki's right hand men. Ikkaku turned around once he had detected my presence. "Ah, what's Soul Society nobility doing here? Why are you here? This is a Ryoka, he's a danger to you! Get going, I'll handle him."
"He's my friend."
"What? This scumbag is your friend?"
"Yes."
"Well then. Looks like I'll have to fight you after I kick this guys ass then."
Ichigo stood ready, sword ready to fight Ikkaku. "Let's do it, Zangetsu! Lend me your strength!"
They began to duke it out. The battle seemed to be in Ikkaku's favor at first. Until the turning point of the battle, Ichigo surprised Ikkaku with a few attacks, gaining the upper hand. After some time, Ichigo landed a pretty deep blow to Ikkaku, causing significant injury.
"Alright. Let's go find Chad."
Following Ichigo, we went in the direction that seemed to house most of Chad's spiritual pressure. During the series of hollows popping up left and right in Karakura Town, Chad and Orihime gained power due to the connection with Ichigo, but also through connections with battling hollows. Chad gained a power that transforms his left arm into that similar to the arm of a hollow. When he throws a punch, it sends a beam of light hurling at the target and will immobilize them. Additionally, it would also cause damage to his target upon impact. Orihime, meanwhile, had hidden power in the hair berets that her departed brother, Sora, had gotten her. Shortly before he had died in a tragic car accident, the berets were a little gift from him to make her smile. Sora is somewhere in the Soul Society now, but it's unknown as to where he is.
We came to the location where Chad stood, slightly bloodied. "Chad! Ichigo said as he was running to his side. "You're okay!"
"Yeah.. I'm alright. The enemy.. is different."
"Yes, I know." Ichigo looked down. "Just remember that Hisana here is on our side. She wants Rukia to be safe and come out of this alive."
Chad nodded. "Right." However, they did agree that it would be best if they split up to try and cover more ground. Someone had wanted to reach Rukia first. If not Ichigo, then one of us.
Before I could say anything, I felt something warm where I had my hand on Ichigo's chest. Blood.
"Ichigo's bleeding!!" I thought in my head. I kept my hand on the wound, and we soon met up with Ganju. "You again?!" Ganju gritted his teeth. "I really don't want to be teaming up with a soul reaper punk like you!"
"Stop it! He's bleeding!"
"Wait.. I know you.. aren't you Hisana Kusonarii?"
"Yes."
"From the noble clan?"
"Again, yes."
"Oh my god. What are you doing here of all places?"
"I'm Ichigo's friend. And I'm gonna help him save Rukia."
"I see."
A group of Soul Reapers in the relief squad came running past us. We saw one that was running behind and took him as a "hostage" despite Ichigo's opinion."Hey! What's the big idea with that?? My squad will be here any minute to-.. wait, where did they go?"
"They obviously didn't even notice that you were gone.." Ganju sighed. Ichigo then passed out from blood loss. "Ichigo!" Ganju and I cried out.
"Wait. I can heal him. But not here, let's go underground."
The soul reaper from the relief squad took us down into the underground tunnels, and made some bedding for Ichigo and laid him down on it. "My name is Hanataro. I'm of course from Squad 4's relief squad. It's nice to meet you."
"I'm Ganju." He pointed to himself, grinning.
"I'm Lady Hisana Kusonarii."
"Wow! Of the Kusonarii Clan?!" Hanataro's eyes sparkled.
"Yes. The one and only." I smiled. "And the last.."
"You are..?"
"Yes, my parents were killed.. by Souske Aizen."
Hanataro's eyes widened. "You mean..?"
"Yes...it was Captain Aizen."
Hanataro looked down as he continued to heal Ichigo's wounds. Hopefully Ichigo will come out of this.
