Later that morning, Dad took me down to the junior high school to get my uniform. Whilst there and in the guidance office, I was given my schedule. I had English, Math, Swimming, followed by a free period, then science, and history. After that, the teacher would assign who had to do work at the end of the day.
I headed to my class; 3-A to meet my home room teacher and be introduced to my fellow classmates.
"Good morning, my name is Mr. Miyabi. I am your home room teacher. Additionally, we have a new student today that id like to introduce..." Before heading into the classroom, I looked down at my sailor suit uniform. It was a navy blue with a red ribbon with the top. I walked in to the classroom, for the teacher to be introducing me. "This is Hisana Kusonarii. She transferred from a outside district."
"Hello." I bowed. "My name is Hisana Kusonarii. It's nice to meet you all."
Mr.Miyabi motioned outward. "You can sit by Ichigo there." A young strawberry blonde haired man was sitting next to a empty desk. He seemed slightly stand-off-ish. I sat down beside him, and smiled over at him. "Hi Ichigo, I'm Hisana. It's nice to meet you."
"You too"
"Your father is the doctor at Kurosaki Clinic, right?"
He glanced over. "How did you know that..?"
"My dad and I live right next to you."
"Really?" He seemed surprised. "We should get together sometime."
"Definitely!"
After the day had ended and we had gotten our final assignments for the day, Ichigo and I met up outside. "So where did you come from, Hisana?"
I froze up slightly. "Would he believe my story? What would he say about that..?"
I paused. "I'll just give him the original story that I transferred from an outside district.."
I glanced over at him. "I came from Kyoto. I wanted to be in more of a small town."
" I see. Well.. " we took a detour on our walk back to our houses. At a nearby street corner, there was a bottle with flowers in it, knocked over. "Not again.." Ichigo sighed. "I've been fixing this nearly everyday.."
"Why the flowers?" I asked, pandering with curiosity.
"Well, last year, a girl died here in a car accident. Ever since, I could see her ghost lingering here. She looked lonely, so I would talk to her and bring her flowers everyday."
"I see.." After Ichigo had fixed the flowers, a ghost of a young girl with pigtails appeared before us both.
I jumped slightly. This was my first time being able to see something like this. "Hey, how are you holding up?" Ichigo smiled. "I'm doing okay. Who's the beautiful lady with you?" She tilted her head. "I'm Hisana. I'm a friend of Ichigo's."
She smiled. "Thanks for visiting me today."
"Of course." Ichigo replied. "I'll be back again tomorrow."
As we finished our trek back hone, Ichigo and I stood outside of his place. "You gonna be okay?"
"Yes, I think so."
"How about you join us for dinner? My sisters and dad would love to meet you."
"That sounds nice. I'd love to join you."
Following Ichigo in, I was startled to hear his father quickly charging at him. "Welcome home,Ichigo!!"
Ichigo swung his schoolbag and it hit his dad in the face. "Good hit son.." he was grinning, then looked up at me. "Ichigo.. I didn't know that you had a girlfriend!"
"Dad she's not my girlfriend. She's actually our neighbor."
"Left or right side?"
"Left." He responded.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Isshin" Ichigo's little sisters perked up as well. "I'm Yuzu!" "I'm Karin!"
"I'm Hisana." I smiled. "Nice to meet you all."
We sat down and ate some onigiri (rice balls) with some curry and udon noodles. Turns out Ichigo was quite the cook. The food tasted amazing.
Later that evening, I thanked everyone for their time and headed back home. "Welcome home, Hisana."
"Hey dad."
"Did you meet Ichigo?"
"Yes. He's very cool. I met his family too."
"I see. Well then that's good. " He glanced back over at me. "Did you eat?"
"Yes." I nodded.
I went up to bed that evening and fell asleep quickly.
