Lumine was helping Sucrose with alchemy because Albeto was busy that day and she was just starting out. She had a specialty for brewing certain potions, so Sucrose gave her the *funky energy drink* and said that it was supposed to make her a little bit smaller, and of course let her know the wide field of possible side effects.
After 30 minutes of trying to convince Lumine, she finally agreed. Lumine hesitated before taking a sip, and the next thing she knew, she's tiny.
