The man in the shadows stood silent.
"What could you possibly want with our dragons?!"Astrid had both anger and fear in her voice.
"You need dragons to conquer other dragons."
"Why do you need to conquer dragons?"
"To show all you dragon riders what dragons are capable of."
He then left almost strutting with confidence that he would win. Merida turned to Astrid about to eat.
"Aren't you going to eat Astrid? You only have had water this whole time."
"I'm not going to eat ever... I don't trust this food... I don't trust that man."
"Astrid you are going to starve yourself. Please at least eat some strawberries."
"No Merida! I won't starve because Hiccup is coming to find us."
"How do you know that?!" Merida said her voice shaking.
"Because I know Hiccup wouldn't wait one second to find you."
"Me? Are you saying he doesn't want to find you?"
"Of course they all want to find us but Hiccup wants to find you more."
"Oh really, why?"
"Because he loves you Merida!"
There was a silence.
"Come again..."
Astrid took a deep breath.
"He loves you."
