Everybody was worrying about Merida. Hiccup could not stand the thought that this could be all his fault. If it was an enemy of Berk he could lose her forever. He went to wake up Astrid to hop onto their dragons and search for any sign of Merida. When Astrid's father opened the door his eyes were watery. Hiccup knew something bad had happened.
"Last night Astrid went to go talk to you and never came back. A royal guard told us that they last saw her in the forest heading to where Merida was taken."
Hiccup didn't know what to say. He was shocked. He knew he had to close off that part of the forest and search for any sign of them on his own. Nobody else could go missing he wouldn't allow that to happen.
In DunBroche, Queen Elinor was still devestated, what if she was dead? What if it was her fault? King Fergus was determind to find her. He knew she had to be out there somewhere. They would find her and she would be safe.
