Today was our date day. I had no idea what was planned but he seemed so excited for the day ahead, being extra talkative during breakfast and lunch and seeming like a child on Christmas.

"I don't want to give anything away but dress nice but not too nice."

"Dream.. nice but not too nice?"

"I'll show you what I'm wearing and you go off that?" He smiled.

I nodded although I was still so confused. He told me barely any information about it apart from that we were going into the city and we'd be back late.

Dream was dressed in a nice crew neck with a shirt underneath and the collar poking out. He paired it with some black pants and white sneakers.

I decided to wear a satin blue top which laced around my torso and black pants. Also I held a jacket for later on when it was a bit colder.

We met back in the kitchen and got showered with compliments from the boys before getting into Dreams car for the drive into the city.

The sun was beating down on the car, our windows open for the refreshing feeling of wind in our hair, cooling us down from the heat. Dream had taken his sweatshirt off, sat next to me in a button up shirt looking as handsome as ever.

His hair was blown back from the wind, accentuating his tanned face from the paler parts usually hidden behind dirty blonde locks. Since the weeks that I've known Dream, his brown tinted freckles have grown darker with the summer sun over us.

Every time I looked at him, he radiated happiness. Always wearing a big grin or the Dream smirk that he sports when he's up to something, like right now. He looked pleased with himself at what he's managed to plan for us both and honestly whatever it was, I felt like the luckiest girl alive to be sat next to him right now.

We parked in the car park of a fancy restaurant, I rolled my eyes already because we both knew we didn't do fancy.

"I know what you're thinking but I wanted to treat you. You have to admit, you really enjoyed last time." He said with a smirk, knowing exactly how happy I was the last time we went fine dining.

"Okay, I enjoyed it. But I'm paying this time, it's only fair."

He shook his head and stepped out the car, holding up his finger to make me wait for him to open my door. He made his way to my door and opened it, bowing down dramatically and holding his hand for me to take, "My lady." He said, holding back a laugh.

I took his hand and hopped out the door, "Thank you, my prince." I said, mocking an accent like George's only posher.

"Ooh, if you're calling me your prince does that mean I get to call you princess?" He looked down at me with eyes lit up and pearly white teeth poking through soft lips.

I laughed and looked at the floor before looking back up into his eyes, "Sure."

"Well then, princess, your chariot awaits." He bent down in front of me for a piggy back ride, insisting I wasn't allowed to walk to the door.

"Dream were in public! I'm not getting on your back." I started walking away from him towards the door.

"Fine, then I'll just have to do this." He smoothly picked me up into a bridal carry as I let out a small scream. I rushed to hold his neck so I wouldn't fall off, slightly pulling his face closer to mine accidentally. I could see the way his tongue traced the back of his ivory teeth, his bottom lip being pulled back and clamped down by slight fangs.

It was hot to say the least.

He carried me like that to the door, before putting me down in front of it and walking in as if nothing even happened. We were walked to our table for two which he had reserved for us. It had a beautiful rose in the middle and a candle. The table cloth was expensive looking, as were the patterned plates in front of us.

The waitress came over to take our drink orders, we decided on some water since it was early and Dream had to drive us home. We both stared at the menu for a while, going back and forth between options.

"I don't know what to get, can you pick for me?" He said looking away from the menu at me.

"Me? Okay but you have to pick for me as well." I said confidently.

We both scanned the menu again, this time trying to please each other's taste buds. We ordered and the waitress took the menus away.

Our date went by quickly and I was hesitant to let it go by so fast because I didn't want it to end. Dream seemed to think the opposite, quickly devouring his meal and waiting patiently for me to finish mine.

"We're going somewhere after this. It starts in half an hour, no rush because we won't have to wait in line." He smiled at me and I finished the last bite of my meal.

We left the restaurant soon after in order to get to the mystery place in time. As always, he didn't let me pay the bill but I managed to sneak money into his pocket before we left. We started walking the streets and turned a corner from the main city.

"Where are we going?" I had my arm linked into his, now the sun had set there was a chill in the air.

"You know I'm not telling you." He laughed.

"But we're here now, I need to know before we go." I gave him puppy dog eyes and stopped us from walking, holding both of his hands. "Pleaseee. How could you refuse your princess." I said laughing.

He rolled his eyes and pulled out two tickets from his trouser pocket. "Here."

I stared with my mouth wide open, forming into a smile at the corners and quickly slapped a hand over it. "You're kidding! Dream what the heck." I ran to hug him, squeezing him in tight for scoring tickets to a concert I had been banging on about for ages.

"You said you wanted to go.. so I got us tickets." He had a shy smile on his face, one he rarely sported.

"Dream, I- thank you so much." I lent in for a kiss, a grateful, excited kiss.

"Also you know that I'm friends with Alec so I pulled a few strings and he's letting us backstage for a bit. We need to head there now."

"I want to marry you." I said with a grin.

"Oh marry me? I just have to bribe you with Alec Benjamin and now you're my fiancé? Let's go." He let out an excited wheeze.

"I can't marry you when we're not even boyfriend and girlfriend yet." I deliberately wanted to mention this because I so badly wanted to make it official but he knew I'd never be so bold as to ask him.

"Is this your way of hinting at me to ask?" He stepped forward and held my waist.

"No." I blushed at the embarrassment.

"I was going to ask you tonight, after the concert you dummy. But I guess if you want me to ask you here out of all places." He looked at the piles of trash next to the bins behind us. "Y/n, will you let me have the pleasure of calling you my girlfriend?" He smiled gently.

"I thought you'd never ask." I put the back of my hand to my forehead in fake despair. He laughed and shook his head. "Yes Dream, I will be your girlfriend."

He placed his hand on my jaw and pulled me into a kiss, our first kiss as an official couple.

"Thank you for making me the happiest man alive."
