This is a kaeya one shot
The reader here is a kid who got kicked out of their house/abandoned by their parents

I heard someone say

"Could you possibly help me with something real quick?"

And that is how I ended up on the peaks of stormberaer mountains.

Something quick they said.

I sigh and continue looking for the valberries that person wanted.

I heard some rustling in the distance.

There aren't any boars nearby so it can't be them.
And the rustling is too loud for it to be a fox or a squirrel.

I started slowly walking closer to the sound to not startle whatever it was that made the rustling.

I think I saw something.

But was that,

Clothing?

I looked behind the bush and saw a child.

Wait a minute,
Why is there a child in stormberaer mountains without any guardian nearby?

"Hey kid, you alright?"

They shakes their head.
It seems like their ankle is sprained or something.

"Is there anyone you know nearby?"

They shakes their head once again.

"Alright then...
Are you okay with following me to the headquarters of the knights of favonius?"

They nod and try to say something else but fail.

"You need some water kid?"

They nod.

I grab the water bottle I got on me and gave it to them.

"I-i can, I can't walk."

Ah, so they did sprain their ankle or something like it, gotta remember to take them to Barbara too.

"I can carry you if you're okay with that. Wait, here you can hop on my back so you don't gotta use that sprained ankle of yours."

They get on my back.

"Are you secure?"

They nod.

"Alright it's time to go then."

Basically he brought you to the headquarters, gave you some food and clean clothes and such.

After that you were taken to Barbara for some good old healing (Barbara: let's dance! Y/n: I can't my ankle be like broken or sum-)

And then you stayed in a spare room they have at the headquarters.
The next day you talked to the knights about how your parents kicked you out/abandoned you.

Kaeya decided to adopt you because idk-
