"hey keade I need some advice" I said as I sat down opposite her. I've been having trouble with my new house guest and who better to ask them the wolfkin tamer herself!
"oh is that why you invited me out. I thought you were looking for another free meal" keade said teasingly.
"very funny" I rolled my eyes.
"ok now what's your problem? I'm all ears!" she smiled brightly.
"it's the wolfkin" I sighed "he doesn't trust me at all. In fact he's been trying to get away from me since day one!"
"Well you can't expect him to trust you right away ran" keade shook her head "he's in a very scary situation with a stranger he knows nothing about. You can't blame him for being on edge"
"Well how did you get him to trust you so quickly?" I asked.
"simple" keade replied "I was gentle and welcoming. You have to make the person feel safe if you want them to trust you"
"gentle and welcoming" I muttered softly "yeah I think I can do that"
"great then let's order some food. I'm starving" keade said eagerly.
"fine but you're paying" I grinned at her.
"don't I always?" she rolled her eyes fondly.
I leaned back in my chair with a relieved sigh. Thanks to keade I have some idea of what I'm going to do now. I can't wait to get back home to the little guy..
