Rue Porter-
We stand there for a moment, my head cuddled into his neck, his arms snaked around my lower back; holding me as tight as he could.
I could hear him quietly sobbing into my shoulders, his hot tears soaking through my t-shirt.
How did he hold this in for so long?
I pull back from the hug to look at him. Reaching my thumb up to his face, to softly wipe a tear from his cheek.
His eyes were still clouded from the amount of drink he'd consumed and he smelt strongly of cigarettes, but I could tell he was sober enough to think clearly.
"Do you want me to walk you to your dorm?" I ask.
His dorm was about five minutes from the club and I didn't want him to walk alone in this state of mind.
Stiles nods great-fully, shoving his hands into his pockets and beginning to walk along the street.
Quickly, I follow, pulling out my phone to text Renee that I wouldn't be home for a while.
She's going to kill me.
We walk in silence to his dorm, the only noise being the sound of our footsteps and an occasional shiver from me. I couldn't help but sneak glances at Stiles, the way his silhouette looked under the street lamps, the way his jaw clenched ever so slightly when the wind gently blew.
The silence is peculiar but strangely not uncomfortable.
As we walk up the steps to his dorm, Stiles takes a shaky hand and shoves his key into the lock. I watch quietly, rubbing my arms as I try to keep warm, he turns to face me, looking expectantly into my eyes.
"So." I say
"Sooooo." He mirrors, looking around awkwardly.
I look at the floor, scuffing my shoes against the concrete.
"Thank you." Stiles announces, causing me to look up in surprise.
"For what?" I blurt out bluntly, cursing my outwardness.
"For believing me." He says shyly, his cheeks reddening at his words.
I nod , smiling slightly although taken aback, my stomach dropping ever so slightly and I turn my back, readying myself to leave.

"Rue wait." Stiles calls out, his features soft under the light glow of his dorm.
"Will you stay here with me tonight? My roommates gone and I can't really sleep lately and I-I trust you."
Turning to face him, I look at him in bewilderment, trying to see if he was just playing some sick joke on me. But the vulnerable look in his eyes told me all I needed to know.
"Yes I will Stiles."

"Do you want a drink?" Stiles asks, moving skittishly around his room as if I was a inspector, just waiting for him to slip up.
"Calm down Stiles, have you never had a girl in your room before?" I say jokingly.
Smirking at me, Stiles rolls his eyes and repeats his question "do you want a drink?"
"Hot chocolate." I say, sitting myself down on his bed.
He chuckles at me, raising his eyebrows as he walks over to the coffee machine in the corner of his room.

As the coffee machine begins to whir, Stiles kneels down beside me, opening a compartment within his bedside table, before pulling out a bottle of what bared a strong resemblance to whisky.
I sat still and watched, cocking an eyebrow as Stiles walked back to the coffee machine.
"Stiles-" I began, but before I could stop him, he flicked the top from the bottle and took a gulp. Loudly, I cleared my throat, causing a scoff of dissatisfaction from Stiles.
"Okay mum." He says nonchalantly, as he shrugs off my disproval. He cocks his head back, lifting the bottle the bottle to his lips and before I knew it I was face to face with him, my hand clasped around his, stopping him dead in his tracks.
"Put the bottle down Stiles." I say calmly, guiding his hand to the countertop.
"Rue stop being stupid." He laughs, a glimpse of mischief in his eyes.
He looks down at my lips and back into my eyes, his hands snaking up to the top of my arm as my heart skips a little. Quickly, I snatch the bottle from his hands.
"You've drank enough, have a hot chocolate." I say sarcastically, walking back over to the bed and sliding the Bottle back from the place Stiles took it.
He stared at me, cocking his head as his eyes scanned my body before muttering to himself and putting another pod into the coffee machine.

"Here you goooo." He says in a singsong voice, playing the drink into my hands, as he sat himself on the bed.
"A hot chocolate for blue Rue."
I roll my eyes in response, cuddling into a pillow on the corner of his bed.
"Asshole." I mutter with a giggle, internally cursing the stupid feeling in my stomach.
Stiles grins at me before pulling a laptop from underneath his pillow.
"Movie?"
He hands it to me and I pick a film, bending over to place it on Stiles' legs.
"You're going to love this!" I exclaim, leaning my head against the headboard.
"Mhm," Stiles mumbles tiredly.
"Okay, so basically there's these teenagers who-"
My speech is stopped dead in its tracks, when Stiles' cheek slumps against my shoulder. I turn to look at him, his face plastered in a calm expression, his long eyelashes feathered across his eyes.
He'd fallen asleep for the first time in days. Because he felt safe. With me.
Quietly, I immerse myself into the movie. Until, slowly but surely, I felt myself being lulled to sleep; my cheek gently hitting the top of Stiles' head.
