Ask Yasak Part VIII

"congratulations SerkanBolat you are a free man"

Her words hit him as if the bomb dropped.... She better be joking.... But the look in her eyes was clearly pretty serious.

"Eda, you're taking this way out of proportion.... It's not the way it seems"

Serkan tried to come up with a logical explanation.... Trying to buy out some more time.

Eda shoved the papers again at him "Really SerkanBolat.... Justin sign" she said sarcastically.

"Look I was overwhelmed and I was drunk.... I just needed to vent out...to a friend which definitely in this case was not Selin" Serkan frantically tried to explain.

"Look Eda, we came a long way for a purpose which is bigger than our egos... You and I both don't want to lose this house to Deniz.... Me because I hate that rat and you have your emotional attachment" Serkan tried to make sense while Eda just snorted.

"Come on SerkanBolat... I don't want to be married to a person who thinks of me like gold digger ... I will find another way and save my house.... Right now you just save yourself" Eda was too stubborn.

"I am not gonna sign anything, we took this path together and we are gonna finish this together. Don't let Selin get the satisfaction of messing this up Eda, that's all her plan...."

Serkan wasn't sure but he was not gonna let Eda go and marry off some XYZ again.

Once almost getting her married to Ferit had given him scare enough and he was not sure but he couldn't let Eda get legally get attached to any guy.

Specially now when he just started having special feelings for her since this morning when he saw the plants in his house.

Weirdly though he liked her little personal touch in his house and wasn't gonna let it go because Selin acted her bitchy self.

"Listen we can work this thing out, it's just a couple of months Eda... I am sorry for what happened and what I said but it was just my bullshit thoughts about being married.... I don't blame you, I never wanted to disrespect you Eda..." saying truthfully Serkan moved towards her and held her hands.

" I am gonna destroy this piece of paper, because we are gonna go through with this marriage and our contract... Tamam" Serkan said softly.

As he wanted to tear the marriage cancelation document, Eda stopped him...
"I have some new rules Serkan"

"I accept anything" Serkan said and tore down the document.

Having the decision made to continue the marriage contract, Eda did some quick thinking.

She already heard how Serkan resented being married, she had no idea whatever reason made him to accept her contract but it was still uncomfortable for Serkan to maybe share his life with a wife.

Even sharing the same roof was giving him stress and she knew it was real panic attack when she heard Selins recording.

So Eda did some quick calculations.

"Serkan it's gonna take a couple of months to go through the process of transfer of property to my name... I am pretty sure it's not gonna be easy for us to pretend and act happy by living together..."

Eda stated, even when she saw Serkan trying to object she continued...

" I am gonna ask Enging bey to transfer me to Antalya Project site, I know he is going to be there for next few months so I will also shift there..... This will keep our sham of marriage under wraps and my presence will not bother you too" Eda completed.
