ASK YASAK PART VI

The following days were busy for both Eda and Serkan.

Eda kept up with the work, she moved back with Engin n Piril team also she had been working side by side towards the completion of Ferit s Sports Complex Project.

Secondly she was going through the limited options of prospective paper marriage options given to her by her confidant and friend lawyer Ceren.

But so far none of the options looked any good, the men all seemed money grabbers and lame enough to submit to a goon like Deniz.

All Eda wanted was a couple of months being married in the eyes of law so that her house would be legally transferred to her name.

Maybe she just needed a male friend who would agree to helping her but that was the last resort for Eda, right now she was working against limited time and options to fulfill her plans for finding a contract marriage partner.

All the stress of work and personal life was piling on Eda during her days n nights.

Her only refuge was some friendly chats with Piril n Ferit during her coffee breaks or once maybe twice some official lunches courtesy of Ferit... Cause he was a darling indeed.

SerkanBolat was busy himself, he had major workload after grabbing some big ass new projects, he had back to back visits to the site areas....

He wasn't even coming to the office for a few days he used to just directly go to the construction sites.

Nevertheless he always had Eda on his mind, though her idea of contract marriage put him off completely.

Actually the word marriage was totally taboo for serkan. He hated the idea of marriage after observing failed marriage of his parents time after time.

His mother and father divorced when he was a child, married again to their lovers then divorced, married each other again in the name of giving another chance, failed n divorced again and were now again married to other people.

He had seen this game often and felt the agony of going through life changes due to meaningless relationship issues named as marriage.

Since teenages Serkan had vowed never to get entangled in something as irrelevant yet disturbing as marriage.... For even he avoided serious relationships too.

He blamed it on his childhood trauma of observing unmatched failing marriages of his parents.

He never wanted to go through something like that for himself and till now he had avoided any such problems.

Eda mentioning marriage contract was another example for him to despise the whole idea.

He wanted to persuade her to find any other way to hold on to her inheritance but he knew how stubborn she was.

So he thought he would make another opportunity to discuss some more sane ideas for her rather than trusting on some person enough to sign off a marriage deal.

So far there hadn't been any good opportunities for them to discuss again but he was planning on getting to talk to her over a good meal on weekend. If nothing else she was his employee and he should be looking out for her interest.

By Friday Eda was exhausted not just due to working hard, the fact that she was using too much workload to push off the more conflicting issues off her mind.

She knew it was high time to find someone to get herself into wedlock to legally claim her inheritance, or she needed to find some other way to get it.

Meanwhile Deniz kept calling and she kept declining.

She needed to get out of this mess by this weekend because her birthday was just around the corner, the sooner she got the house the sooner she could get rid of Deniz trying to breathe down her neck.
