The Queen and The Captain (kuroo x oc)

Part 7- Aoba Johsai

I woke up early the next morning to catch the early bus to my house. "See you again soon Old Man!" I shouted as I shut the door on my way out. I glanced at my phone to see that I had 10 minutes to catch the bus which was a mile away. 

Let's just say I didn't look very attractive that morning.

I ran into my house, took a shower, braided my hair, and grabbed my uniform so I could it to school in time for the bus. I grabbed my earbuds and phone before running out the door with my bag barely on my shoulder. I made it to the school just as Tanaka and Ennoshita were arriving, "Hey guys!" I called while waving my hand at them. The waved back and we had some light conversation as we entered the parking lot.

I left the two as I went to talk to Daichi, "I am planning to tell them on the way back from the game. Thought you would like to know." "Ok," he replied as he did a head count and moved his bag inside the bus.

The ride was going fine, I started to read a volleyball Wattpad story about halfway through the ride. I looked over to see Hinata attempt to open the window when he...threw up on Tanaka. I rolled my eyes as I picked up my bags and went to go sit in the empty seat behind Daichi and Suga. "What was it you said about this being a good idea?" I said as I leaned back into the seat as Tanaka was screaming to stop the bus.

We finally arrived at Aoba Johsai an hour later. We got off the bus and I looked over to Hinata run to the bathroom to throw up again. I watched Tanaka and Suga hold Kageyama back as he threatened to go beat up Hinata. "Wow! Great choice Daichi!" I said as I rolled my eyes.

Tsukishima, Tanaka, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, and I were all walking towards the gym as we overheard the other team talking about Karasuno. "I hear they have the king of the court and the fallen queen," I heard one say. "No way they have the Black Swan, she was expelled from Shiratorazowa," the second said. I tried to keep a neutral face, but I felt all of the shocked looks from the group. Before anything else could be said Tanka walked around the corner with his scary face and said, "Don't mock my team bro! We'll have your heads." it actually scared the other two. "Come on Tanaka," Tsukishima said while waving him off, "There's no need to talk like that. I mean look what you've done, the hotshots from Aoba Johsai Highschool are practically shaking in their shoes." he said with his signature smirk. "Don't forget Tanaka," I said while taking a step up so I could fully be seen, "They get scared to call people out face to face. Their nails might damaged if they do, and that would be a major tragedy." I said as I turned and walked off. I could hear the other three dying from laughter as I was turning the corner. 

I walked straight into Daichi, "Looks like I have to tell them now," I said to him as I helped him up, "Someone from the other team brought up my expulsion." "I really didn't wan them to know before the game, but oh well I guess," he replied as he shrugged his shoulders and moved towards the group I just left.

We entered the gym and thanked the other team. Tanaka accidentally scared Hinata so much he ran to the bathroom again. I sighed and turned around to be faced with Yamaguchi and Tsukishima. "I never would've guessed you were a bad girl, but there is a first time for everything I guess," Tsukishima said while shrugging his shoulders. The jerk said it loud enough for the whole team to hear, which didn't help my situation. "You want the truth? I was expelled from Shiratorazowa on the basis of lies," I said while grabbing my practice jersey. 

Once Hinata came back we lined up on the end line, and I realized something, I was taller than their libero. He only looked to be around 5'6" and I was 5'10". My only hope is that I have been doing this for a longer period of time because if he is as good as Oikawa, we're screwed. Another bonus is that he won't be playing backrow so that gives us a little break from him.

I was waiting for the rotation to be confirmed so I could switch with Tsukishima, and I heard them talking about how short Hinata is. The ref let the liberoes switch in, and the game began. The first serve went up and Hinata ran in front of Daichi to receive the ball, I covered it and passed to Tanaka, who was blocked. That is how the entire first set went until the very end, when Hinata served. I was so bored at this point and lazily watched him panic and serve the ball straight into the back of Kageyama's head.

It was dead silent. Until I fell to the floor from laughing so hard. 

Suga made me leave the gym to "use the bathroom."

I showed up a few minutes later to see Hinata getting yelled by Tanaka while he was on his knees. So since I love to cause chaos I yelled, "I didn't think the first time Hinata would on his knees was with Tanaka, but get it I guess." I could feel the death glare coming from Daichi so I let my tongue get the better of me, "Don't tell me his first time was with you, because that is just sad." I heard Suga snort which lead to Tsukishima losing it as well. That earned me a slap from Daichi, but it could've been worse.

I received the first serve and Kageyama accidentally set it to high for Hinata to hit. The next serve was also received by me, but Kageyama set it perfectly to Hinata which got us a point. The whole game was just going back and forth without either team getting a real lead. We ended up winning the second set, it took a lot of yelling from Daichi, but we won.

I sweat dropped when I heard Oikawa's voice from behind me, and I knew we didn't stand a chance from then on. The good thing about him showing was it angered Tanaka which makes him play ten times better than he usually does. 

The third set went the same as the second with nobody getting a major lead. We were at match point when I accidentally shanked the serve, and Oikawa swapped in. His serving was going to the front row and targeting Hinata. He did another time which just made Hinata even angrier. I moved up and received it, but gave them a free ball. Oikawa set it to onion head hoping to shake off the blockers, but Hinata got a one touch which was enough for me to cover it and Hinata to score the winning point.

The only sound that could be heard was the whistle, we beat a top four team.
