Part 3- Meeting the team

Nakano's Pov  

We walked into the room to find none other than the king of the court and a middle schooler? "Um...Hello?" Replied the king. I looked over at Tanaka and shook my head at the stupid face he was making. "WELL WELL WELL WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?" Tanaka yelled before Daichi pulled him away. I stood behind him as I curiously watched the middle schooler walk around us as they talked to Kageyama. I waved my hand in front of his face until he spoke up, "HEY!" he shouted but was interrupted by Kageyama repling to the question about his height. 

6 feet?! I thought to myself. What the hell was he fed? Corn?

As I was zoned out I missed  the shorty getting the attention of Suga, Tanaka, and Daichi. This resulted in Tanaka yelling at yet another person today. "You were tiny and all over the place but you really had some spunk," was the first thing I caught once I returned to the planet. Suga complimented Hinata before Tanaka came in, "It's to bad you haven't a growth spurt yet though." Hinata looked frustrated by that comment but said none the less, "I know I may be small but i have talent. I'll be Karasuno's ace before you know it!" he said yelling the last part. When I glanced at Kageyama he looked like that comment really bothered him. "Hot dam! Already got your eyeballs on the ace position do ya? Somebody's got cajones!" Tanaka yelled, again.

Kageyama went into so speech about how he would have to back up his claims on becoming the ace. I zoned out again because of how annoying Kageyama's voice can be. By the time I returned to Earth Daichi was trying to calm down dumb and dumber before they did something well, dumb.

Hinata decided to interrupt Daichi and challenge him to, passes? "How the hell does anyone win at that?" He replied, voicing everyone's thoughts. But before anyone could say anything the Vice Principal walked in ,"What is going on in here?" "Oh dirts the VP!" Tanaka whisper yelled. "I leaned over to him, "Remember our bet, Tank." I said standing up straight again.  

{Flashback two hours prior}

I walked out of the VP's office because i had finished signing a few documents. I went straight into Tanaka's room and saw him sitting talking to some other second years. "I bet you $20 that the VP is wearing a toupee," I said as I held my hand out to him. "Oh your on! No way that hair is fake!" He said shaking my hand. I walked out of his class and entered my 1st period right on time.

{Back to present}

"Are you boys fighting in here?" He asks as he finally reached us. "No sir working hard as always," Daichi said, like the true captain he is. Tanaka then turned, covered the wrong side of his mouth to loudly whisper to Hinata to watch himself. Hinata decided to completely ignore Tanaka and challenge Kageyama to a, serve-off? I rolled my eyes as Kageyama went back to serve, but it wasn't a normal one. He jump served and aimed straight at Hinata's face so he had to duck to miss getting hit. Once he got up I saw Kageyama go to serve again due to Hinata's request. "I see the new recruits respect their captain," the VP muttered to Daichi. When he reserved he aimed at the back left corner hoping Hinata couldn't get behind it, but he did. 

The sad part is it only went downhill from there. It shot off of his face and hit the VP. I watched in slow motion as it hit his face and watched his toupee fly off his face and land on Daichi's head.

It was dead silent for a second before I fell to the ground and laughed hysterically and shoved my hand in Tanaka's face, "G-give me-e my $20." I said in between wheezes. "Dude its not even that funny," he replied trying to cover his laugh, but failing miserably. Suga yelled at the both of us, "SHUT UP YOU MORONS!" Which resulted in Tanaka losing his cool and laughing hysterically. "Captain may we have a word," the VP asked sounding very embarrassed. 

Once Daichi came back he told us that we wouldn't be punished, but sworn to secrecy. This caused me to laugh all over again. Once I regained my composer Daichi talked about how we are going to make it to nationals this year. "Plenty schools talk about making it, doesn't mean they will," Kageyama said. "Your right, but I'm dead serious." Daichi walked up to dumb and dumber and basically told them to get their act together or else he would take them off of the team. I just watched in stunned silence as Daichi shoved the applications in their faces and slammed the door.

As Daichi dealt with the idiots i held my hand out to Tanaka, "I need my $20 now." He looked at me like I was crazy, "Wait. You were serious?" "Yes! Now my money," I said shoving my hand out to him more. "NO!" He yelled back into my face" "Guess I'll have to do it the hard way," I shrugged and performed my favorite move, SING. Once he was on the floor I walked over to his bag, and pulled out a 20. Then I stepped over Tanaka, and walked back towards Daichi and Suga who looked surprised and scared at the same time. "It was nice to meet the both of you, but I can't stay today because I don't have my shoes, knee pads, and elbow pads with me. I will be able to join you guys tomorrow though," I said as I walked back to my bag. I was almost out the door before I heard the million dollar question "What position do you play?" Daichi asked. "I am a libero, or you might know me by a better name The Black Swan," I didn't need to turn around to see their faces, but I knew they were dumbstruck.
