Yixing handed his card to the cashier to pay for the plastic filled with snacks. He and his boyfriend had decided on a movie date in the cozy little apartment a few days ago. Smiling at the thought of that, he smiled and thanked the cashier before grabbing the plastic bag and walking out.

The IT specialist was waiting for his boyfriend to come back from Sehun's when he remembered the little date they had planned. Thus once he remembered, decided it would be a good surprise for his boyfriend when he came back. Happily humming a tune, he had his free hand stuffed in the pockets while the other was occupied by the plastic.

As he walked to their apartment, someone stopped him. "Oh, my God!" he heard a gasp, "Yixing, right?" he looked up and a grin crept on his face, "Luhan!" The two hugged with a happy grin and pulled away.

Yixing and Luhan were best friends in China till the former moved to Korea. "When did you come here and why did you not call me when you did?" the IT specialist pouted at his friend. "I may or may not have lost my mobile phone and all the numbers along with it," he replied with a sheepish smile.

"Where are you staying?" Luhan shook his head, "I moved here. I'm a doctor at Seoul Medical," he announced proudly. Yixing gasped, "How long has it been!" The younger chuckled, "Six or seven years?" The two nodded and began catching up on everything.

"What about him? Any news?" Luhan shook his head, "Everyone's still looking for him. I ran into Yifan a few days ago and he asked me the same." A couple of minutes of silence followed with a sigh.

As a few minutes passed they stood there talking about their old friends and their families. The two exchanged numbers and the doctor promised to never lose it again with a sheepish smile.

"My apartment is nearby if you'd like to come," offered the elder and Luhan wanted to nod till he remembered. "Your boyfriend is Junmyeon, right? A detective?" the IT specialist furrowed his brows as he nodded, "How did you know?"

"Oh. He came by the hospital a few hours ago and he had your name as his emergency contact so I thought he was either your husband or your boyfriend. Since he did not have a ring, I decided he was your boyfriend."

Yixing furrowed his brows as Luhan continued, "You guys might need some time alone. I'm sorry for your loss." The younger hugged the frozen male and patted his back, "I wish all the happiness to you guys in the future, Xing."

The doctor patted his friend's shoulder one last time, "Let's meet again when you guys are okay, alright?" Yixing had stopped listening a long time ago and only nodded his head without a single word entering his head.

Once Luhan walked away, Yixing took off running. He ran as fast as his legs took him to their apartment. He swung open the door and dropped the plastic on the coffee table before rushing to their bedroom not caring to take off his shoes or his jacket.

"Jun..." his voice softened as he heard his boyfriend sniffling under the covers. "Baby," he sat beside him caressing the soft raven locks, "What happened today?" The sniffles came to an abrupt stop.

"You don't have to answer me right away. Just tell me whenever you feel like telling me, okay?"

Junmyeon gently lowered the blankets and looked up at his boyfriend with red eyes, "I'm so sorry, Xing." The elder nodded stroking his locks, "Why are you apologizing, Jun? Who made you cry, my bunny?"

"I killed our baby, Xing." Yixing knew this was what Luhan meant but he was only hoping to hear it was not true. He was hoping to hear his boyfriend say it was nothing but a bad joke. But no, his assumption was right and there was his boyfriend confirming it for him.
