After the morning's antics, the team had finally all been calm while preparing themselves to train.

Everyone was in their own individual suits and I would be lying to myself if I said it wasn't slightly intimidating considering I was only wearing tights and a thin tank top.

"You excited?" Clint pulled me from my thoughts falling into step next to me,

"Yes and no" I admitted with a shrug,

"Well I saw what you did to metal man on the roof yesterday, my money lies on the fact that you can kick ass" He states nudging my shoulder with his,

"We'll see. Thanks though Clint." I said as I made my way to stand in the line of me.

Clint's words had surprisingly silenced my nerves although the silence was short-lived the moment I looked down the line at the highly trained heroes standing beside men.

Jeez I'm short

Although my five foot five height never bothered me in the past I couldn't help but feel I had a slight disadvantage, not that I was going to let it stop me from kicking some superhero ass.

"Alright team, with a new member to our session we are going to go back to the very basics of self-defence-" Steve started walking up and down the line military-style, although his sentence was cut off by the groans that fell from the team's lips,

"Really Steve?" Bucky protested "I have been on the receiving end of Tyla's wrath and something tells me she's a little further ahead than you think" he defended looking down and shooting me a wink.

I know full well that I am way past basic self-defence but I am still torn as to whether I make them aware of that or not. I don't want to be seen as possibly cocky in my abilities because god knows that Tony has that side of things covered.

"I'm sorry Steve but I agree with your best friend forever on this one" Tony speaks up which send the whole group into a non-hostile debate on if I would be able to handle myself against the worlds mightiest heroes.

"I can do this guys," I said only just above a whisper kind of hoping no one would hear me, trusting in my luck all eyes fell to me yet again.

"Tyla you don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable with" Steve assured,

"No, it's okay. I need to do this" my statement was met with a flurry of light cheers and encouraging 'woos' that reminded me that ultimately I was safe with the group.

"Alright then," Steve said clasping his hands together "We are going to begin with one on one partner sparring before moving on to working on fighting alongside each other in teams" The team nodded at Steve's plan, it was obviously one they were used to. "Who wants to begin?" Steve asked.

"I think our guest of honour should start us off" Loki suggested bowing dramatically towards me, Steve looked over to me for confirmation and I nodded in response.

"Alright then...Buck you can be her first opponent" Steve said turning to face the former assassin, the lineup seemed to fill with an uncomfortable silence.

"Sure let's go metal man!" I said cheerfully almost skipping over to him grabbing him by the bicep and attempted to pull him into the grassed area designated for the drill. He didn't budge.

"Steve are you sure?" he said "I mean...I'm me..." he said looking down and fiddling with his own hands.

Whats got him so worried

"I do agree Mr Rogers." Peter spoke up earning himself an angered look from me, "uh n-no offence Mr Barnes" He quickly added upon the look on Bucky's face.
