The minute Castiel reached outside the restaurant, he began walking, trying to get anywhere but around Dean. He wondered if he could go to his father, to explain what was going on and hopefully get som advice on what he should do, but he knew he wouldn't be able to get the words out. This was so much worse than he originally planned when he took a human vessel.

So, as soon as he was clear from anyone's view, he shrugged his trenchcoat off, allowing his wings to spread free and stretch. The angel bit his lip, trying to keep his anger at bay as he took off with a jump and a powerful swish of his wings. Instantly, he was in the air, up in the clouds where he was alone with his own thoughts.

He never thought he could have messed up this badly once becoming human. First Michael tried to kill him and now he can't stop falling for Dean. The human life force certainly had a sick sense of humor.

Letting his wings catch the drift, he floated over the soft whisps of clouds, letting his mind wonder as he slowly began to relax, enjoying the feeling of the freedom that was soon to be over. He didn't want to think about the fact that he would soon have to go back down and face Dean eventually, though it only plagued his mind anyways.

Castiel. I'm not sure this is working, but I thought I'd give it a try. You are an angel after all right? And can't angels hear prayers? He heard Dean's voice in his mind, making him shudder as he pictured the hunter with his head bowed, an embarrassed look on his face. I pray that you get your feathery ass down here so I can talk to you face to face. If you can, meet me in the dorm room. If you can't hear me, then I'm just sitting here, looking like an idiot. So I hope you can.

The prayer trailed off as Dean finished and Castiel opened his eyes, clutching the trenchcoat he held tightly in his hands. He hadn't expected Dean of all people to do that. It almost made Castiel's human heart with need.

The angel sighed and began gliding down to the ground, making sure that he stayed in the proximity of the clouds so he couldn't be seen. He would teleport to the dorm, but he had to be on the ground beforehand. When he saw an abandoned park, he straightened out, taking a deep breath before diving.

The wind blew through his hair in a wild fashion as he plummeted towards the ground, unfazed by how fast the ground was getting closer. When he was just twenty feet above the ground, he flapped his wings up, slowing him down and allowing him to land on the ground without a single problem. He looked around to make sure he was still alone before he took off again, his body disappearing as he teleported to the dorm.

When he landed behind the dorm building, he glanced around, glad to see that all the students were either inside on this chilly day or mulling about the small fountain that sat in the middle of the pathways, away from the dorm building all together. Castiel let out a sigh of relief, but the burning in his chest still showed his nervousness.

His hands began shaking as he pulled the trenchcoat over his shoulders, working his wings into the folds so they sat neatly against it. Tucking a few feathers into place, he buttoned a few buttons so he wouldn't have to worry about the wind blowing the trenchcoat off his wings before trailing from behind the building to the front, where he walked into the front door.

The air was much warmer inside as he entered, trying to flatten down his wind blown hair as he headed to the stairs. He heard people chatting in the lounge to his right but ignored it. He never really planned on making friends anyways. Dean was just a coincidence that turned into something much greater.

He slowly walked up the stairs, keeping his hand on the rail so he wouldn't repeat the same mistake he had made on the first day. He smiled breifly as he remembered that was how he met Dean, only to bite back tears as he figured this would probably the last time he would be able to talk to Dean. No doubt the hunter would want nothing to do with him after this.

It only made him more nervous as he reached his floor, swallowing a strange lump that had formed in his throat as he stopped in front of the deep brown door. He hesistated before knocking, feeling like he would just be intruding if he had just walked in, despite him living there as well. He heard the soft thumps of Dean's footsteps as the hunter walked over to the door. Castiel was half-tempted to run before he got there.

Even if he wanted to run, the door was opened and Dean grabbed him before he could even move, dragging him in. They didn't say anything to each other, but the hunter kept glancing back at the angel as they walked, a conflicted look in his eyes. Castiel clenched his free hand into a fist, struggling to keep his emotions off his face as he was led to the kitchen and sat at the table. Dean let go of him and moved to the counter where he could watch the angel without being too close, his gaze becoming almost piercing as he studied Castiel.

The angel sat underneath Dean's scrutinizing gaze as Castiel stared firmly at the table he was sitting at. He refused to even glance towards the hunter's direction as he leaned on the counter. Eventually, Dean cleared his throat, finally deciding to break the silence.

"You in love with me, Cas?" Dean asked, Castiel's heart wrenching. He couldn't help as tears began to well in his eye, staring at the table with all the strength he had to keep from crying. He heard Dean take a deep breath, a sigh escaping his lips before he continued.

"Because, if you are..." Dean trailed off and Castiel had to raise his head to try and blink the tears back, his vision going blurry as the liquid threatened to spill over. He saw the blurry form of the hunter staring at the counter beneath his arms, studying the design in it. Castiel letting out a shaky breath made Dean raise his head, a soft smile crossing his face.

"That's the best news I've heard in a long time." Dean finished, his eyes glowing with happiness. Castiel felt his heart begin to burn at his words, but not of fear like it had been, but of happiness. He let out a breath, a smile forming on his lips as a single tear rolled down his cheeks. He finally met Dean's eyes and shakily stood as the hunter motioned him over.

"Are you?" Dean asked, pushing off the counter and meeting Castiel in the middle. He hugged him tightly, the angel returning his hug and burying his face in his shoulders. At first, Castiel just nodded, but he had to speak the words, to confirm for himself as well.

"Yes. I'm so hopelessly falling for you." Castiel whispered, not trusting his voice to go any louder. Dean's hand moved up Castiel's back to cupping the back of his head, rocking back and forth as his lips pressed gently into the side of the angel's head.

"I have to say..." Dean stopped, pulling away just enough so that he could look Castiel in the eyes. Castiel felt his tears starting to return, his stomach erupting in twists and turns as the hunter slowly leaned closer. "I'm in love with you too."

They're lips met, only breifly, before they both parted. It was clear in their eyes that they wanted more. They wanted so much more, so Dean took the iniciative and cupped Castiel's face in his hands, running his thumbs over his cheekbones.

Slowly, Dean leaned back in, pressing his lips firmly against the angels. It only took a second of coaxing before Castiel began kissing back, the pace slow and delicate as they tested each other's feel. It wasn't like the kisses that had been before, lust or jealousy induced, but it was loving and sweet, and Castiel could never imagine anything as perfect as this.
