Chapter 14

[Xavier pov]

Like always it's been a very long day but I've been coping with the stress of work and trying to balance my life. I had to still see Olivia tonight to collect my clothes and that's the only thing I'm looking forward too. I like looking at her face and being served a drink by her. Unlike the other girls at the club she isn't in a rush to get in my pants for money. She actually wants to know me.

"It's getting late sir. You should be at home by now", Sabrina said. She honestly made me contemplate if I should go home or stay here until late.

"I know but today I'll stay here until 9pm. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine",I said reassuringly. "I understand that you like going to the strip club to see that girl but as your employee I'm here to tell you that you need to sleep more. Your getting me to make you more coffee then usual and I'm worried about your health." she said.

"You don't need to worry about me and I promise I'll sleep more starting from tomorrow. Thank you for caring about me", I said. "OK then. Goodnight boss. See you tomorrow and drive safe", she said with a small smile plastered on her face. She left the building and I left the the building at around half past 1 in the morning.

I packed my suitcase and I finally headed out. When I exited the building I was welcomed to the sight of my car right in of the building. I was handed my keys and drove off to the club. It was a 30 minute drive there and I made it there safely.

I parked my car in the parking lot and as I was on my way in the car I was met with Agatha. She had a cigarette lit but at least it wasn't drugs this time.

"Hello Agatha, how are you on this fine day?", I asked. "Cut the crap Xavier. I know you're here for Olivia again, not to make conversation with me. She's not for you and you know this. She is a stripper and you already have all the things you ever wanted in life. Leave her alone before you fuck her over and plus her boyfriend is already here. I don't need a fight", she said.

I stopped listening to her when she mentioned a boyfriend. I walked past her and entered the club just to see Olivia and Lucas hugging each other.

"Hey Olivia", I said to make myself noticed by the both of them. They turned to me and she also gave me a hug. But as I was arching down to hug her properly I felt her forehead and it was heating up.

"Your hot", I told her. "Thank you. I always knew I was", she replied with a cocky expression on her face." Olivia I meant it as in you have a fever. Let me take you home and I'll take care of you until you get better".

"She was most likely infected by her roommate. And don't worry I'll take her. I've been driving her all day so I got this. OK Xavier", he replied. I wanted nothing more then to hit him in the face for wanting to take her home.

"I know how to take good care of her Lucus so don't worry about it", I stated. Olivia looked at me so and I knew that she wasn't in the best condition because her face was turning red to and she was hanging onto me for support. I gave up fighting Lucus and I asked one of the strippers for her bag and to tell Agatha about her condition.

She didn't take long for her to get me the bag and I lifted her up and walked to my car while Lucus was behind me. I finally got her in my car and put her bag in the trunk. "What are you doing! I said that I was going to take her. What gives you the right to just pick her up and place her in your car",he said angrily.

"I'm going to take good care of her and you shouldn't be fighting with me right now when your friend is practically heating up. Goodbye Lucas". I said and finally entered the car.

I drove to her apartment unit and knocked on the door. After a few minutes her friend answered the door. "Go downstairs and get in my car. I'll pack both of your bags. Olivia isn't doing well and I don't think that this is the best place for the both of you", I said sternly. She didn't say a word and just gave me the house keys and went to the car.

I packed her bags up for them and after 30 minutes I got out of the apartment and got into the car.

We reached my house in a few minutes and I guided Amber to her room and placed Olivia down on my bed. She was still heating up. I placed a wet towel on her head and covered her in sheets.

I called Logan for help and he assisted me with Amber. They were getting better but I still didn't trust their conditions. I went downstairs and went into the medicine cabinet and I found the correct meds for this.

I went back upstairs and gave Logan the pills to give Amber. I went to my room and I saw that Olivia wasn't in bed anymore, I heard something in my closet and when I walked in I found her passed out on the floor wearing my clothes. She must have gotten uncomfortable in her stripper costume and came here. I picked her up again and placed her on the bed.

"Xavier please don't leave me alone" she said in a faint voice. I gave her the pills her fever went down after a few minutes. Logan said that the pills are also working on Amber and that she fell asleep. I was about to stand up when I felt Olivia's hand holding my fingers and I knew that she wasn't going to let me go. I thanked Logan and he went to his room.

I switched off the lights and went to bed too. Olivia cuddled into me again and I cuddled her back. It was honestly a goodnight for me.

Sorry for being gone for a long time. Had a lot of school to deal with and lost my wattpad account for a while too due to phone changes and I didn't set a password.
