Chapter 16

[Xavier POV]

Her lips are so soft. I like it. I pulled her in by the waist and she was trying to push me off. We finally broke apart and the way she looked at me made me feel shitty. She looked at me like I did something wrong.

"Are you okay?", I asked her. "Where did that come from? I mean people don't just grab people by the wrist and kiss them, especially the way you did", she said.

"You were angry and I just wanted to calm you down and that was the only thing that came into mind. I'm sorry if you felt that I pressured you. I've honestly wanted to do that for a while myself". I tried to reach out for her but she moved back as if she feared me. Her hands started shaking and her eyes were watery. I fucked up.

"Please just let me out of here and please don't touch me that way", she said with a low voice and looking down". I moved aside and she walked past me and out my room. I couldn't say anything to her.'Did I hurt her?, does she fear me?, all these questions are going through my head.

I finally left my room after 10 minutes and went downstairs just to see everyone eating breakfast and Olivia didn't even spare me a glance when I came down. I took my breakfast upstairs because I couldn't stand to look at Olivia's face. Her face was red and her eyes were puffy. I could tell that the other 2 in the room didn't want to pry and just let me be.

[Olivia POV]

The food is really good but the memory of being kissed and held that way just in my head and on a constant loop. I get that he was just trying to calm me down but it bothers me that he touched me and it automatically reminded me of my mom's husband and all the sexual shit he did to me as a kid.

I hope I didn't make him feel bad but at that moment I was just scared and didn't know how to express it right. I bet he hates me now. He didn't even want to eat breakfast with us.

"Is Xavier okay?", Logan asked. "I don't know. Some stuff happened between us and now we are just avoiding each other", I replied back. The both of them just looked at me with concern.

"We heard you guys fighting through the door. We know that it was non of our business but we were just scared because it sounded serious",Amber said. I don't know if we should talk about it or if I should feel ashamed at the fact that we were heard.

"Why is your wrist red? Did he hurt you!?" Amber said out load. I look down and see that she was right. But before I could tell her she grabbed me and took me to Xavier's room. Logan just followed us. She barged into his room and when she saw him she immediately hit him."Amber let me explain please", Logan held her back until she calmed down.

"Amber, I have sensitive skin. So when he did grab me buy my wrist it didn't take a lot of muscle to make my skin red. Xavier didn't hurt me, he might be big but he's a softy",I explained. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know about Olivia's weird skin condition" Amber apologized.

" It's OK. Can you guys just get out of my room except for Olivia". Logan and Amber understood and stepped out of the room. When the door finally closed he walked close to me and sat down on the bed. He signaled for me to sit next to me and I did.

"What's up? Talk to me about how you feel because honestly I feel bad about the kiss. Not that it wasn't amazing but I feel like you're scared of me and I don't want you to fear me because I care about you", he said.

"Xavier I don't fear you. I just had a bad childhood and the moment that you touched me I saw my abusers face in you. I'm sorry if I made you feel shitty about this. I know you had good intentions but those memories aren't the best", I replied back to him. He gave me a hug and I hugged him back. He gives the best hugs and I love his hugs.

"This time let me make it up to you. Olivia may I have a kiss?", he asked me and honestly he made me feel flustered. " Xavier, I would love to kiss you", I replied. He came closer and before I knew it the door swang open and we saw Logan by the door.

"Lucas is by our door again and he demands to see Olivia. I tried to call the police but he broke my fucking phone. I wish I listened to you when you told me to get a back up phone". For the first time I saw Xavier getting angry. "Stay in this room Olivia, I'll go deal with him", I just stood there as he left the room.

[Xavier Pov]

I can't believe that he came back again. I finally reached my front door and saw his face.

"I called for Olivia, not you". "I'm all you are currently going to get. Leave my house and Olivia alone, she doesn't need you and your fake stories about me", I said. He just looked at me and I could see the anger in his eyes.

"I just want to see if Olivia is safe and I'll leave your property. I don't trust that you didn't fuck her up or worse", he stated. "I'm here Lucus and I'm safe. He wouldn't hurt me, he took good care of me and my roommate. Now please leave before something bad happens to you", Olivia said.

"I'm taking you home. Go pack your things", he commanded her. " I can take her home Lucus. She doesn't need you right now", I replied back to him. He walked up to Olivia and grabbed her by the wrist, "go pack we are leaving this place", he said quietly. "Lucus you're hurting me, please let go of my hand". Olivia cried out and for me that was my Final straw.
