[ Xavier POV]

We eventually arrived home and I got to making some mango slices before I got annoyed about it. I ordered some more mangoes from Africa because clearly over here they aren't in season. This is a very bad season for these types of cravings season.

Olivia came into the kitchen and started eating the slices I made for her. She looks so happy. "So how are they?" , I asked referring to the mangoes. "They are so good" she said. "So when are we gonna tell our mom's about the news", she asked. I didn't really think about it until now. "We can tell our parents when you are ready but I prefer to tell them on thanksgiving , just because it would be a good time to do so", I replied.

She nodded her head a simple yes and  she wiped her face after that."I think I should do online schooling. I don't want people knowing that I'm expecting a baby and I think while I stay home I'll do commissions so that I can have some money to pay you back", she said.

"We already talked about this. You don't have to work, I'll take care of you until the baby arrives and then you can go back to school. But if you think you can handle what you just said then I support you through it all", I didn't wanna rush her into anything. She can take her sweet time. She came around the table and gave me a hug. I kissed her on the forehead. "You are the best boyfriend I could have ever asked for. I hope you know that I am so happy having you and so will our baby", she said while placing my hand on her stomach. I wiped my hands and picked her up and gave her an even bigger hug.

Honestly at that moment I just knew what I wanted. "Will you marry me?",I asked her. She looked at me with shock. "Xavier , don't you think this is too soon?", She said. "I do but I'm sure. You said that you wanted to get married before you had kids, so here I am. Olivia, will you make me the happiest man and marry me? You can answer on your own - ", I didn't get a chance to finish before I got kissed. "Yes! I will marry you",she said.

I kissed her and gave her a big hug. This is awesome. I can't wait to tell everyone. "Get out the kitchen, I wanna make dinner" she said. I put her down and listened to her. I gave her a kiss on the forehead and left.

I went to my study room and called my brother. "Hey, what's up? You and Olivia okay now?", he asked. "Hey, yeah, we are actually getting married. I proposed",I said. "Shit bro that amazing. About time. She is a lovely girl. I'll tell Eve the news!" He said in a cheerful tone. "Okay but please don't tell mom, I wanna surprise her", I said.

"Okay,  thanksgiving dinner is happening at my place this year so you can tell her here. This is gonna be perfect. I'm gonna be an uncle and the best man!",he said. We kept on talking about it until I heard my name being called out by my fiance. 'My fiance' that sounds perfect.

I went to have some dinner and it was chicken Alfredo. We sat down, had some dinner and watched a movie together. She fell asleep on my lap when she was done eating her food.

I covered her in a blanket and picked her up and placed her on the bed. I wanted to make sure she was nice and warm before I got into bed. I read a little book before falling asleep beside her.
