Zhao!

Iroh and I were miserable when Zuko died, even though he seemed to get over it quickly. I was absolutely devastated, Zhao had made sure I was stuck to his hip since, not even letting me be alone for a second. It was like he was refusing to let me mourn my first love and it hurt like hell. " Scarlett your not even listening" I jumped in surprise when I heard a snap, Zhao had clicked his fingers in front of my face, sighing when he finally got my attention. " Sorry" I mumbled, " Honestly girl, your mind has been a mess for days now" " My friend died, I'm allowed to mourn him" " Yes, now listen. I'm sending these papers off to the fire nation, its the papers asking the fire lord to bless our marriage" I nodded my head as he explained what would happen, it was all very boring.

He sent the papers off on a fire hawk before sitting down next to me, " I understand losing a friend in such a gruesome way is hard. But at least we caught the people responsible" I nodded my head " I know, I just miss him". I suddenly felt fingers running down my arm, I slowly glanced over. Zhao was stroking my skin, nuzzling his face against it. " Your skin is so soft" I stayed quiet, I wasnt sure what he was doing. I bit my lip when he pulled my skirt up to my thighs, letting his hands roam my now bare legs. " Zhao" I croaked out as he started kissing my neck, " Zhao stop" I said a little louder. I gasped when Zhao pinned me down onto the floor and sat on top of me. " Zhao stop!" I yelled in fright, Iroh burst through the door and stared at us.

My skirt was pulled up to my thighs, Zhao was on top of me, pinning my arms to the floor and I was a shaking mess. " Zhao she is just a child! How dare you try to take advantage of her when she is so vulnerable!" Iroh yelled in anger and disgust. Zhao's face went sour " She's my wife" " Not yet, and wife or not woman deserve some respect! Get off of her now!". Zhao groaned before getting off of me, Iroh quickly helped me up, escorting me out of the room.

He pulled me into an empty hallway, " Are you okay my dear?" I nodded quickly " Scarlett, it's me you know I can keep you safe". I couldn't help it, I ended up throwing my arms around him and crying into his chest, he sighed as he softly pet my head. " I'm so sorry this happened to you, from now on I want you to stay by my side so I can keep you safe". " Zhao ordered me to stay with him" I cried " That man has no honour, stay with me". " Uncle?" I turned my head to see a solider and I quickly stood up straight and wiped my eyes. " Scarlett? Why are you crying?" " Theres nobody around, they're at dinner you can take your helmet off". I gasped and threw my arms around Zuko  crying like a child " I thought you were dead" " Let Zhao keep thinking that" I nodded my head.

Zuko pulled my face up gently " Why are you crying?" " Unfortunately I found Scarlett in an upsetting position with Zhao" Iroh sighed. Zuko's face showed he was furious " What?" " Nothing happened, I stopped it before anything could happen. She is shaken up". " I will not let him get away with this Scarlett, I'll get revenge for you" " You will stick to the plan and keep blending in till we get to the water tribe. Now go, before anyone sees you". Zuko kissed my cheek softly " I promise I'll get you out of this" " Thank you Zuko" I quickly pressed my lips against his, smiling when he kissed me back.

Zuko left and I went back to my room with Iroh, he made me promise not to say anything, which I agreed to. I couldn't help but feel giddy, even the next morning when I was sitting next to Zhao at breakfast I couldn't stop thinking about Zuko and how he kissed me. Without thinking I ran my fingers slowly over my plump lips, smiling at the thought of Zuko's warm lips pressed against mine. I gasped in fright, my face being pulled forcefully. My eyes widened as Zhao forced his lips against mine roughly, " Zhao" I mumbled against his lips. I pulled away but he grabbed my arm and pinned me to the floor. His body laying on top of mine as he ran his lips around my neck.

Zhao covered my mouth with his large hand, I looked up at him in fright as he smirked down at me. " Dont make a sound" he warned me, his free hand grabbing the material of my skirt, pulling it up over my legs leaving my lower half exposed to him. I bit down on his fingers as his hand got too close to my heat, he growled before striking me with the back of his hand. My head flung to the side with the force of the impact, the sound of the strike echoing in the room. I held my face before crying in fright as he grabbed my face, " Why are you being so difficult?" " Because I'd rather die than let you take my flower" " That can be arranged" he bared his teeth at me. I grabbed his wrist when he wrapped his large hand around my throat, he shoved his tongue in my mouth and I never felt more disgusted with myself.

The door to the room opened, a solider came through the room and stopped when he spotted us. " What do you want?!" Zhao yelled at him " Cant you see I'm busy" " We're almost at the water tribe sir, I was sent to fetch you". Zhao sighed before staring at me, I was shaking under his hard stare. " I love that your so scared of me" he smirked at me. I closed my eyes tight when he pressed his lips against mine gently " I've been patient till now. Once I win his battle I want you in my bed waiting for me. Do I make myself clear?" I nodded my head quickly, taking a sharp breath when he let his grip on my throat go. Once Zhao left the room, the solider ran over to me and touched my face gently " Are you okay Scarlett?" He asked panicked. " What are you doing here? If your caught-" " I heard the commotion, I peaked in and saw what he was doing to you. I couldn't let him...." Zuko trailed off as his eyes saddened " I had to do something to protect you" " Thank you for saving me". " We're almost at the water tribe, go to yout room and lock yourself in until Iroh comes for you" I nodded my head as he helped me up. " After tonight Iroh will never touch you again" " Zuko be careful, please" " I will".
