We were still riding the seas to Server and it seems like we were getting close to it. And much faster, thanks to Whamon. While we waited, however, most of us just slept. Well, except for me and Tai. He stared upon the open waters. Continuesly checking for any hint of the said continent's boarders.
"We left File Island almost five days ago," he said aloud, seemingly impatient.
"Don't worry," assured Whamon, "we're almost there."
"Huh? Seriously?" I perked my head up.
Impmon was currently sitting on my lap as he was napping. As I stood on my feet, I still carried him in my arms. Kinda like how a mother would carry their sleeping toddler. Making my way to the front, I could also see the edges of the of the existing continent.
"Well, would you look at that!" I said rhetorically.
Tai pulled out his telescope and looks through for a proper inspection. "I think I see an iceberg," he jokes, "either that, or it could be the Continent of Server."
"It's Server." Whamon confirmed and Tai jumps with excitement.
"Wake up, everyone! We've made it to Server!" I say, also excitedly.
Everybody sits up rubbing their eyes. Matt was the first to wake, followed by T.K. "I was only resting my eyes."
"Well, your eyes were snoring pretty loudly." Joe yawned.
"Come on, we're gonna be there in a few minutes! We gotta make sure we have everything we need!"
"Are we really there?" Said my waking partner.
"Hehe, rise and shine~"
"Wait..are you carryin' me?!" Impmon shouts, suddenly growing embarrassed, "put me down!"
I did as he asked and dropped him on his feet. He dusts himself off and crosses his arms in a pout, still having a light brush of pink on his cheeks. Aw, cute~
Everyone was now collectively excited to be arriving at Server the more closer we got. So curious to see what was waiting for us there. But clearly, our main objective was to meet Gennai and defeat the enemies he spoke of.
We found a good place to land on and we jumped off Whamon with ease...most of us, anyway.
"Come on, Mimi!" Sora encourage the remaining party. Didn't seem to actually work, however.
"Uhm, this is a little too extreme sports for me. Is there some way I can be airlifted onto the island?"
"Sorry, we can't just move the continent for you, Mimi." Izzy says looking through this computer. "According to this map, this is best Beach to come ashore."
"Just put one foot in front of the other! You'll be fine! It's just as easy as falling off a log!" Joe said, metaphorically.
"Yeah? Well, I've fallen off plenty of logs, and believe me, it's not as easy as it-- AHH!"
I guess Whamon had enough of Mimi's stalling, because he just bumped her off him. Leading her to not only fall onto island, but directly on top of Izzy as well. Lol.
After that, Whamon leaves. Wishing us all luck on finding the crests. We waved good-bye to our new friend and thanked him for all that he's done for us.
"So, what are we going to do now?" Mimi wondered.
Palmon explained to her our course of action. "While you were asleep, Whamon told us where to go. In the forest, a few miles from here, there's a Koromon village."
