I watched in fear as the humans and digimon fell into the water. I saw a particular girl struggling in the deep and went in to save her. She bumped her head with a rock and was left unconscious, running out of air.
I quickly pulled her up and out to the side away from her group. I don't know why I'm so worried about this human. I don't usually care about anyone in that manner.
"Hey, girl, wake up!" I tapped her.
She coughed up a bit of water, sitting up.....and I just ran away. . . . . . .

Thank goodness for Gomamon's fish ride and that we survived the rockslide and waves, but now we had to find land. When we did, I realized that Naomi has been really quiet, in reality, she was actually gone!
"Guys, Naomi's missing!"
"What?!" They shout.
"We have to find her!"
"But how?" Izzy interjected. "There's no way for us to call her without connection."
"Then we're just gonna have to find her the old fashioned way." Tai said. "This will also give us a chance to cover more ground of the island."
We now had a plan and we began to put it to action. Everyone had a chat and learned more about the digimon's evolution. However, I was still worried about Naomi. She could be anywhere and she doesn't have a digimon with her. We then hear a telephone ringing and see that it's a phone booth, many phone booths actually. They were lined up at the beach. We were glad that we had a way to get home.
Unfortunately, they didn't really work at all. No matter which number we called, it was always a different person speaking, not who we were expecting.
"I should've told you that they wouldn't work." A familiar voice spoke behind us. "I just wanted to see you make fools of yourselves!"
Naomi slid down the small ledge with a bright smile. All of us were shocked but relieved that she's alive.
"Naomi, you're okay!" Sora hugged her, making her wince.
"Yep,..t-totally fine!" She had her hair over her face, trying to cover something. "Um, Sora mind letting go?"
"Oh, right." She stepped back, then sees Naomi's odd behavior. "Hey, Naomi, why are you hiding your face? I thought you hated having it cover you?"
"I-it's nothing!"
I made my way over there and pushed back her hair, revealing a black eye. Everyone gasped at the sight of her, but I didn't. I thought this was the case when she was hiding it. Naomi glared at the ground embarrassed.
"I look disgusting, don't I?"
"What we're more concerned
about is how you got that bruise." I corrected."When we fell, I missed the fish raft and ended up in the river. I could barely see through the water and as fate would have it, I got hit with a large rock and knocked out." She explained.
"How were you able to wash up on land?" Tai asked.
"Its a bit of a blur, but I think someone pulled me out of the water. I don't know who it was though. They ran away before I could see them."
"Do you think it was a human? Maybe they help us get back home!?" Joe thought.
"I doubt it." Naomi debunked. "Their arms were way too small. I was surprised they could carry back up."
"Well, I'm going to try the phones again." Joe said, going back to the booths.
Does that guy ever quit?
