"Alice?" she looked up at me from her phone. "Yes?"
"I'm going to an event tonight." she groaned and threw her book across the room, "We were supposed to go clubbing!" she practically screeched at me.
"I know, and we will do it tomorrow."
"It's fine." she said annoyed and I scrolled through netflix on the tv. "Alice!" I yelled and she looked up at me. I pointed to a show on the tv and she grunted before rolling herself onto my bed.
It was 365 days...
I turned it on and we cuddled on my bed watching it. By the time it was 3:00pm I realized that I should probably be getting ready for the event Alessandro had invited me to.
I had picked out a short, long sleeve dress. I curled my blond hair and put on nude heels.
Once I was ready to leave I heared my phone ring and knew Alessandro was here.
As I walked out of the hotel room and through the lobby to the front of the resort I spotted a black G-wagon.
"Well hello." I said to him as I got in the car, "Hi Mia."
"You look nice."
"Thank you."
I didnt know why but I just felt comfortable around Alessandro, as he drove I realized that I really haddent thought about Alex at all since I met Alessandro and I really owed him for that.
"So what is this event for?"
"Just an investor scope. You can never have enough sponsors."
"Cool..." I said my voice trailed off when I saw the building. "It's really pretty." I said and Alessandro just grunted in response.
As we pulled up to the front I opened my own door and Alessandro handed his keys to the showfur.
He interlocked arms and we walked in, "I'm telling you now that I am just going to follow you around." Alessandro gave me a slight grin as we walked into a lobby.
People were dressed in floor length gowns and suddenly I felt self conscious. "You didnt tell me it was a ball." I growened at him and he just rolled his eyes at me.
"Get over yourself Mia, you look fine." he suddenly stiffened beside me and I looked up to see Madlilen and Tomas in the center of a crowd of people. She was latched onto her arm and giggling.
Honestly it was quite obnoxious. She spotted us and came rushing over, "Alessandro! You came-" when she spotted me her face contorted into something resembling disgust but she quickly recovered.
"Mia." she said in a clipped voice...
"Nice to see you again." I chirped with a smile on my face, she was wearing a pink floor length gown that made her short frame stick out.
