As I walked into the bar the first thing I noticed was Camila standing at a table with a cute smile on her face. The second her eyes landed on mine we walked up to eachother and she placed a kiss on my lips

I tried to play it off but found she hadnt even noticed my surprise as she pulled me over to her table.

"Mia! It's so nice to see you again." I just nodded while taking in her appearance. She was wearing a tight fitting black dress with the back cut out.

"You too." I said suppressing a smile while a waiter walked up to us and I ordered a bloody mary.

I saw Camila had a big glass of beer and I grinned while taking a small sip. "So how long have you been in Columbia Mia?" she asked and I everted my gaze while rubbing my lips together.

"Maybe around 2 months now... I visited last year to look at houses and a few times with my step mom and siblings."

"That's so cool. I moved two years ago from the UK."

"Really? I'm just really here for school... that is really cool." When the waiter brought out my drink I thanked them and took a sip while listening intently at what Camila was saying.

From the hour we had been talking I had gathered that her family lived here and she moved to the UK with her mom when she was 3. Her whole story was so interesting and we really seemened to click, so when our legs got tired from standing she invied me to go out to dinner with her. I happily accepted while we walked out to my car.

"No really I mean Mia it's a big deal to move to a country you have no real conections with?" she frazed it like a question while we were driving so I just decided to explain my reasonings.

"No really, I studied Spanish in school science I was in 6th grade... or year 8 where your from. So I was about 11 years old and I needed a place to use it." I saw her roll her eyes out of the corner of my eye while I turned a corner and parked in front of a restaurant.

"You're full of shit." was all she said while we got out of the car and I locked it.

"Ok fine. I wanted to travel alot when I was younger... This felt like the best of both worlds.''

"So you give up studying at a prestigious university in the US? I know you come from money." She said and I thought about my response before saying anything.

"I mean sure I could have done that but really that would have just made me like everyone else... also it comes down to wanting to be independent and if I'm being honest I couldn't do that from home."

"Trust me Mia I get it. I moved away from my mom and step dad back to a family I really only knew through facetime."

When we sat down together at a table and ordered food we just hung out together before the door ringed signaling someone new came inside and I looked up to see Alessandro walking into the place with a short brunett at his side.

My eyes widened and I scrunched my eyebrows together in surprise before I heard Camila trying to get my attention.

Reluctantly I looked back at her with a frown, "Yaa so bas- Wait a minute what's rong babe?" she asked while following my gaze to the couple that was now being seated across the restaurant.

"Oh nothing it's fine... um can we leave?" I asked, suddenly feeling a little hot.

"But we havent even got our food yet?" she said while looking at me still a little caught off guard,

"Please..." I pleaded and she looked around the restaurant motioning for a waitress to come over to us.

"¿Podemos hacer un moño con nuestra comida cuando salga?" she asked and the lady just nodded with understanding before walking off.
