Chapter 4 The Start Of The Trip

*  Lucy’s POV *

I put my key in the lock of the front door and twist it till the door unlocks .
I get inside and take a couple of steps bevor I turn around.
Natsu is still standing outside with his hands behind his head.
“t-thanks for walking me home, Natsu “ I stutter .
“ no problem ! “ 
He smiles.
“ it’s not that good a weather “ I say softly.
I stare down at me feet .
“ y-you can s-say here for the night if you want …”
I hear a click and look up.
Natsu had come in and closed the door.
We walked up the stairs and got in my room.
“ I’ll get you a blanked and some pillows “
I walk towards the cupboard and grab some pillows and a thick blanked.
I got back and dropped everything on the couch.
I turn around and see that Natsu had already changed into his sleepwear.
With was only his shorts and his scarf.
I felt that my face was as red as a tomato.
I quickly turned away .
But Natsu turned me around so I now faced him again.
I  already regret inviting him….
I shoved the blankets in his hands to sort of cover him up.
He laughs when he sees me all red.
I turn away and walk towards the bathroom to change.
I get out of the bathroom and see Natsu leaning against the wall.
“ is that a new pajama ? “ he asks.
“ how do you know ? “
Natsu blushes .
“ no reason … “
I laugh.
we both went to bed.
Natsu slept on the couch .

The next morning when I got up I went straight to the kitchen.
It’s was already ten o’clock and I made some pancakes.
I grabbed a canister of syrup and some powdered sugar.
After I grabbed the plate with pancakes I walked back to the living room and put down one of the plates on the little table in front of the still sleeping Natsu.
I look at him and smile.
He looked so adorable while he slept.
I sat down on an a chair and started munching down on some pancakes with syrup .
After I had finished I wrote a letter to my mom.
I sealed the letter and put it in the drawer.
I got up and walked to the bathroom and turned on the tap of the tub.
After it got full I striped and got in.
The water was hot and stroke my skin.
I opened up a bottle of bubbles and poured it in.
Within minutes the bath was full of bubbles.
I closed my eyes and dreamt away.
After about thirty minutes I heard something next to me and opened my eyes.
Only to see Natsu, red as tomato, standing in the doorway, just staring at me.
He saw I was looking and turned ever redder .
After a second of awkward silence covered up with a towel and walked up to him.
“ Natsu ? “ I said in a calm voice .
I held my towel with one hand up since it was a bit small.
“ yea ? “
“ what the hell !? “
I waved questioning with my hands.
Not the smartest thing I have ever done…….
My towel slipped of  but I quickly pulled it back up.
When I looked up I saw something I didn’t expect.
Instead of looking at me like a pervert, Natsu had turned his back to me and said under his breath:
“ I’ll go back to the guild now, if we come together Mira won’t shut up about her ‘ships’ “
I nodded and Natsu left.
I got ready and left an hour later.

* Natsu’s POV *

I’m walking on the paving with my hands behind my head.
It felt nice that Lucy invited my over for the night.
I threw open the doors of the guild and walked in.
Most people were already there.
“ hey flame brain ! “ Gray yelled.
“ Good morning popsicle princes !” I yelled back with a smile.
I sat down next to Erza at one of the tables.
