Chapter 3 - Hanging out with the HLD's :

The rest of the day seemed to fly by and before I knew it, it was the ending of the day and the school bell was about to ring any second now.

Suddenly, the school bell rang and I hurried out of class, shoving my books and notes in my bag. I walked out of class to find Blaze and Alex leaning against the wall by the classroom door.

When they saw me, they grinned and said in unison "Hey Addisyn."

I smiled back at them "Hey boys, Blaze and Alex, right?"

They nodded their heads reassuringly. I wonder why they're here and how did they know what class I had? 

"What are you guys doing in the freshman wing?" I asked them with my right eyebrow raised.

Blaze got off of the wall and said "Don't you remember what Preston said? Your hanging with us for the rest of the day." He had a goofy grin on his face and I couldn't help but giggle.

I thought back to lunch and then I remembered what Preston told me that they'll be waiting for me after school. I looked up at them and nodded my head. 

"Oh yeah, now I remember. What are we going to do?"

They both smiled widely and Alex said "It's a surprise."

I pouted and made puppy dog eyes "I don't like surprises. Please tell me." I leaned into them putting my hand on both of their chests. I could feel their hard muscles under my palms and it made me blush slightly.

Alex smirked at me and Blaze shook his head making his black hair fall slightly into his piercing blue eyes.

"Your too cute." Alex said while flicking my nose which made my cheeks burn more. 

Blaze chuckled and said "Yeah, but we're not allowed to tell you, sorry Addisyn."

My lower lip moved forward as I pouted. I huffed, not wanting to argue with them any more. "Well, as long as you guys don't plan on murdering me or anything then its fine."

Blaze rolled his eyes at me and Alex made a mocking pained expression.

"Ouch, Addisyn. How could you think such foul things?" Alex said while pretending to feel hurt.

I rolled my eyes at him and asked them "Where's the rest of the gang?"

"Waiting at the front of the school." Blaze said.

"Yeah, so come on, let's get out of this hell hole." Alex grabbed my wrist and started dragging me to the front of the school with Blaze on the opposite side of me.

When we reached the front of the school, I quickly spotted Preston with Carter and Skyler at the right of the school parking lot leaning against a black Chevrolet Corvette. As we approached Preston came over and gave me a hug. I was stunned at first but then I hugged him back. When he let go I started to giggle. 

"Well, that was welcoming!" 

He chuckled and then Skyler and Carter looked at each other and they both smirked then looked at me.

I stared at them wearily. 

"What-" Before I could finish, they both lunged for me and lifted me off the ground as they hugged the life out me. 

"Can't-BREATHE!" I said in between gasps for breath. They laughed and let me go, making me fall to the ground on my butt.

"Geez, Thanks!" I told them sarcastically, getting up and dusting my butt off.
