Chapter 25 - The Plan
I stepped out into the blazing sun of an abandoned park. I could feel the sun's radiating heat dance along my exposed skin. I wore a simple light blue v neck, black capris and turqiouse converses. It's been three months since I met Liliana. Everything I assumed about her was confirmed by her and when Cayle and I took her to the hide-out, the boys were beyond shocked.
I came up with a plan that was dangerous and risky yet could help us get the old Stephen back. I woke up this morning feeling that something was going to go wrong today and feeling that meant that we had to put the plan into effect.
I walked on the tall lanky weeds of grass with little Stevie in my arms. Her light pink baby bag hung on my left shoulder while she giggled at the sight of the birds flying in odd directions. This park was usually always abandoned because it wasn't as extravagant as other parks.
There was a rusty swing set at the middle of the park. It had red bars that was turning brown from rust while the paint was visibly peeling. The once silver chains were now brown, rusty and dirty. It squeaked loudly as the wind blew it back and forth. The plastic red rectangle, known as the seat, hung from the chains and was stained with white and black bird poop. There was a slight foul smell of cat and dog feces coming from either sides of the park.
I don't know why I chose this park. I think it was because I'll be an easier target without a large crowd of people. I knew the the Thunder Delinquents would be lurking around somewhere so, I'll just have to wait.
I swung Stevie in the air, lightly causing her to giggle. She was the cutest thing in the world and I felt a pang in my heart knowing that she's in danger. But, once we get through to Stephen, then Stevie will be some what safe.
A sharp gust of wind slapped against my bare forearms, shins, and face. I held Stevie closer to me as if to block the wind from hitting her. She shivered slightly and then I heard a distant low whistle behind me. I quickly whipped my head around to see someone leaning on the rusty swings.
"It isn't safe to be hanging around these types of places, sweetheart." He said as his grey eyes shined with amusement while smirking. His arms were crossed infront of his chest that was covered with a black tee. His legs were crossed at the ankles while he wore baggy jeans and black trainers.
I growled in the back of my throat when he said 'sweetheart'. But, I rolled my eyes at him.
"Oh really? I didn't notice." I said with heavy sarcasm.
He let a deep humorless chuckle. He stood upright and moved towards me, I held Stevie close to me, protectively. I could see curiousity burning into her deep grey eyes, she looked over a Stephen and started to move her arms up towards him indicating she wanted him to carry her.
"Since when did you get knocked up? Cause the last time I saw you, you weren't pregnant, or so I thought." He said with a hint of pure curiosity.
I let a low chuckle. "I didn't." Was all I said and he looked confused, I repositioned Stevie so she wasn't facing Stephen.
"Then what's with the baby?" He asked as he pulled out a switch-blade from his back pocket.
"Because I don't want to hurt an innocent child. But, I will if I have to." He said with a menacing glare.

I gasped at Stevie and she stared at me slightly confused. Cayle and Liliana looked over in my direction when they heard me gasp. I stared at them wide eyed while my jaw hanging down.
