A/N I know it's been a super loooooong wait and I'm sorry but i've been finishing up school stuff and i've been busy with my family!!! I hope you guys like this chapter even though it isn't one of my best chapters...but thank you guys for reading and supporting this book <3

Angie's POV

"Where are you taking me Josh?" I ask him since he's covering my eyes with his hands, "you'll see Ange" he replies and I put my hands on his smiling, "you know that I hate surprises" I explain, "yeah but this will be worth it" he tells me. After a few more minutes of walking we finally stop, "are you ready?" Josh asks me, "yes" I reply excitedly biting my lip as Josh takes his hands off of my eyes. Once I gather my bearings I gasp, (A/N the picture on the side/top) I look over at Josh and he's smiling at me, "this is amazing Josh" I tell him walking into his arms that come around me, "anything for my birthday girl" he explains to me kissing me head gently before letting me go. I smile deciding to go run to the little gazebo at the end of the dock, I get to the railing and breath in the air happily. I hear footsteps so I turn around and lean against the railing as I watch Josh walking towards me. Once he gets to me he puts his arms on either side of me caging me in, I smile at him and he wraps his arms around my waist bringing me close to him so that there is no space between us. Josh pecks my lips gently and quickly which makes me smile, I wrap my arms around his neck to stay close to him. "How do you like your birthday so far?" he asks me, "it's perfect, I couldn't ask for anyting else" I reply the smile never leaving my face.

After a few more minutes Josh drags me back to the car much to my dismay, I buckle up and sit back watching Josh as he drives to our next destination. I look at our surroundings and notice that we're going back towards my house, I look at Josh with confusion written all over my face, "you'll see Ange" is all he tells me keeping his eyes on the road. We stop in front of my house, I go to grab the door handle but Josh stops me, "I'll do it" he tells me kissing my cheek gently before getting out of the car. Once i'm out of the car we both walk up to the front door, I take out my key and unlock the door slowly still very confused about what's happening. I walk into the house turning on the light, "SURPRISE!!!" I jump putting my hands over my mouth in shock, I look at all the people in front of me and I smile dropping my hands, "happy birthday Ange" Josh says to me wrapping his arms around me from behind with his chin on my shoulder, "thank you so much Josh" I tell him kissing his cheek before going to greet everyone.

I flop down on the couch after everyone has left except for Josh who is sitting next to me. "That was exhausting but probably the best birthday i've ever had" I explain to Josh smiling at him. He puts his arm on my shoulders bringing me closer to his side, I wrap an arm around his torso snuggling into him. "Well you deserve the best birthday, you're amazing Ange" Josh explains to me kissing my head gently. "Josh?" I ask, "yeah?" he replies, "let's go to my room" I say tracing shapes on his chest, I'm suddenly picked up bridal style making me squeal putting my arms around Josh's neck as he carries me to my room. He puts me on my bed gently but I refuse to let go of him which makes him laugh, Josh goes to grab my arms from around his neck, "no stay" I tell him playing with the ends of his hair, he smiles at me and lowers himself onto the bed next to me. I wrap my arms around his torso snuggling into his side happily, Josh kisses my head gently, "when do you have to go back?" I ask suddenly breaking the silence, "tomorrow afternoon" he replies looking down at me. "Oh" is all I say as I hold into him tighter preventing him from leaving, Josh sighs and hugs me closer knowing that this goodbye will be hard. "Let's worry about tomorrow later" he explains to me quietly and he traces shapes into my arm kissing my head gently once more, "okay" I reply with a small smile on my face.

I wake up the next morning to see that Josh is still holding me close to his chest with a slight smile on his face. I take a moment to remember this knowing that he will be leaving later today and that he won't be able to see me for the next few months. My bedside clock says that it's nearing 10am so I decide to wake Josh up, I kiss his chest knowing that he will feel that, he groans, "Josh you have to get up" I say shaking him gently. "Nooooo lets just stay here" he mumbles squeezing me tightly, I laugh, "but you have to go play hockey" I explain smiling up at him, he opens his eyes slowly and looks down at me. He lowers his lips onto mine smiling into the kiss, I put a hand on his neck bringing him closer for a few seconds before pulling away and getting out of bed. Josh pouts as he watches me walk to my dresser to pick out an outfit to wear.

"You should get ready Josh, you have to leave in a few hours" I explain to him before walking into my washroom so that I can go take a shower. I watch him sit up before closing and locking the door of the washroom so I don't have any surprises. Once I'm done in the washroom I walk back into my bedroom drying off my hair with a towel. Josh is fully dressed as he gets off the bed and comes up to me smiling, "hi" I say smiling, he pecks my lips quickly as a reply before taking my hand dragging me to the kitchen so that we can eat something before we have to say goodbye so that he can get on his way back to Kelowna.
