The LDB?

"The LDB?" Tristan asked.

"Yes DuGray, the life and death brigade." Logan told him, dramatically.

"But- why?" He asked, confused.

"Why not?" Logan countered.

"Well, for starters, you don't even know me." He told him.

"No, I don't. But she does," pointing at Rory, "she seems to trust you and I trust her. Besides, you just said your roommate was at the last event, which means he's a member, and that you already know about it all.  And what the hell! You're Tristan DuGray! " He said, in the same tone Rory had used earlier.

"Thanks? Can you even do that though?" Tristan asked, still really confused by what had just happened.

"Yep." Logan said, smiling.

"Uh... congratulations?" Rory finally spoke.

"That's the spirit Ace" he told her enthusiastically, clapping his hands together. "Come on, let's celebrate" he told them.

"Celebrate! What are we celebrating!" Finn said, rejoining the group.

"The new members of the life and death brigade." Logan said, matter of factly.

"And who would these new members be? Do we know them?" Colin inquired.

"You're standing right next to them." he told him, pointing towards Rory and Tristan.

"Reporter girl! You're finally part of the gang, Steph will be thrilled!" Colin said to Rory. "And you... do I know you?" He asked Tristan.

"Tristan DuGray." he told him, shaking his hand.

"Janlan DuGray's grandson?" Colin asked and he nodded. "Colin McRae, our families are in the middle of a business deal if I'm not wrong? Anyways, this is Finn Rhodes. Keep him immersed in alcohol and he won't whine." He told Tristan and they all shared a laugh, while Finn ran off to get champagne flutes for everyone.

"Champagne, love?" He asked Rory as he poured a glass for himself, then her, and then everyone else in the group.

"In Omnia Paratus" Logan said, raising his glass.

"In Omnia Paratus!" They all cheered and took a sip of their champagne.

"Let's play a game!" Finn suggested.

"Sure, which one?" Tristan asked, laughing at his sudden enthusiasm.

The room was now filled with lots of people, most of whom Rory didn't know, all of them already drinking.

"Two Truths and a Lie!" Colin suggested, having to shout because of all the clamor. "Who wants to play?" He asked all the strangers and they all cheered.

They all situated themselves near the couch, Rory on it, with Tristan on one side, and Finn on the other. Logan and Colin were on the floor next to him. The reasoning behind this seating arrangement, was Finn's constant whining about out the floor being too hard. Classic Finn.

"I'll start!" Finn shouted. "Uh... let me think." He said, putting a finger on his chin. "Mmm".

"Oh boy. This is gonna be a long night." Tristan whispered to Rory and they both shared a laugh.
