"Yup." Rory said. "But I don't think we should call him Spawn of Satan anymore." she chuckled.

"Why not?" Lorelai said, wiggling her eyebrows.

"I just... I don't know, it just doesn't fit him anymore." she tried explaining.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"He's changed." she started. "He's really nice." she said, and started thinking about last night. She hadn't seen him in years. And they still clicked. They might not have been friends before, but they would bow. She missed him.

"Oh my god! You like him!" Lorelai gasped. "But what about Dean?" she asked.

"Oh we broke up." she told her, nervously.

"What! I am so far behind in your life! When did this happen?!" she asked.

"Last night..." Rory told her.

"Ok that's it." she said and stood up. "We are walking to Luke's and you are telling me everything, and when I say everything, I mean everything about last night." she said.

"Ok, let's go, I need more coffee anyway." she said, also getting up.

"Nope." Lorelai said.

"Nope?" Rory asked, confused.

'Mhm" she said.

"What do you mean 'nope'?" she asked, still not understanding what her mother was saying.

"I mean, that no, you're not getting coffee" she explained.

"What?!" Rory exclaimed.

"No coffee till I know all the deets." she told her.

"Ugh fine!" she exclaimed.

They both walked out, and were at the bottom of the stairs when Rory realized what she was wearing and turned around.

"Wha- where are you going? Lorelai screamed after her.

"To change." she said, turning to her, pointing at her clothes.

"No one cares if you're in your pajamas Rory." she told her.

"I'm not wearing any underwear mom." she told her.

"I . Don't. Care". She said, holding her hand and pulling her down the stairs.

"Mom!" she screamed.

"Rory!" Lorelai said in the same tone.

"Ugh fine, but I'm rushing back as soon as I get the coffee." she told her.

"And you're not getting the coffee until I know everything," Lorelai reminded her.

"This is gonna be a long day," she said, earning a grin from Lorelai.

"Ok start talking, from where you left" she told her.

"Ok so, Tristan is there and he calls me Mary. And Logan's like what the hell and he turns so we can see who it is, but of course, I already know, so when I see him, I'm like oh my god it's really him. And then, I don't know what got over me but I just screamed his name and ran into his arms. And then I stepped back and was embarrassed as hell but then he laughed and god that laugh." she stopped to laugh, and Lorelai looked at her, smiling. "Anyways, I introduced him to Logan and we started talking. He told me he goes to Yale, and that his mom's alumni." she continued.
