waking up the next morning I felt as though my head was a paperweight but the muffled gurgles of the babies in the cribs by the side of the bed urged me to sit up, Ezra was cooing over them fully dressed and looking like he had just showered.

"good morning beautiful mummy," Ezra said with a big smile, he handed me a glass of cool water which I sipped at happily

"good morning daddy, you look well-rested," I say running a hand through my messy hair.

"I don't think I will ever be well-rested again but I sure as hell plan on being this happy forever," he says looking every bit at the loving father he is showing himself to be.

"Why don't we get these three ready to face the day and start from there?" I say with a grin as he nods and begins to pass me the babies one at a time for changing and feeds, they were incredibly content babies so far always happy and smiling even their cry was small and adorable though I am told the charm wears off with that one relatively quickly.

"Jasmine asked if we wanted time to ourselves today or if you would like to take a walk around the pack lands, I know physically you will be pretty much recovered now thanks to wolf healing but emotionally I was not sure if you were ready or not," he says going through the motions of helping dress one of the babies with a surprisingly at ease stance.

"a walk around our new home does sound lovely but what will you be doing?" I ask while struggling to figure out where all the press studs fasten.

"don't worry I won't be far away, actually I was going to take a quick look at housing and job options, I don't want to leave you and the babies just yet and I have been told there is no rush but I would eventually like to find a way to repay the packs kindness and help through all of this."

"I think that is a wonderful idea!" I say while silently celebrating I had got the pink suit fastened on my daughter.

Ezra smiles one of those easy smiles while watching me.

"you take your time getting washed up and dressed, while these three are full and settled I will get them strapped into their new stroller all ready to go, he says with a bright smile so I slip into the bathroom to prepare, thank goodness for wolf healing which meant I didn't look like I had just given birth traumatically in the back of a car hours before but I did, however, look like someone had stuck two watermelons down my shirt in place of the mangos I had the day before. Getting them into clothing proved to be a challenge too but luckily there was some nursing tops and dresses Jasmine had put into my wardrobe that proved to be rather useful.

"oh my god, you are here!" I hear a familiar voice screech from the doorway just as I fasten my dress and I spin around to see my still pregnant sister in law waddling across the room to wrap her arms around me.

"your still pregnant?" I say feeling stupid for stating the obvious but she smiles and takes It in stride.

"A few pains here or there but nothing is on the move yet, guess who beat me to the most amazing triplets in the whole wide world though, congratulations, how is my brother handling it? He seemed to know what he was doing fastening them in out there," she says excitedly and seemingly all in one breath leaving her slightly breathless.

"yeah no joking that was a surprise, Ezra is doing amazingly from what I have seen and he's so cute with them, he's being so careful with me right now which is sweet but you better take it steady too," I say gesturing for her to sit on the bed which she does with a small sigh.

"you better get a move on, I think I am gonna go get me a nap when I catch my breath but you run along and meet Alpha Jasmine for your walk, the grounds are beautiful.

"I wanted to stay and talk a little longer but I knew she would not leave it so I collected my things and left to see my mate and pups waiting for me by the door, a small kiss on the cheek and very warm farewell and I am on my way to meet Jasmine as a brand new mummy of three pushing my new babies with pride.
